Listening to music as a guitar player, you hear many great riffs over time and tend to think to yourself "damn I wish I wrote that one"; and this is one of 'em.
My wife and I are naming our daughter Freya, to be very fittingly born in the springtime. I will not be showing her this song, but if she's anything like her dad, she'll have no trouble finding it herself. :)
Freya was born 2 months premature at our home in the middle of the night, while her mother was home alone. By the time the ambulance had arrived, her mother was having a stroke and bleeding to death, and Freya's body temperature had dipped so low it wouldn't register on the thermometer. Both of them got as close to death as one could possibly get. --but I'm happy to inform you all, they both made a miraculous recovery. Not only did Freya's mother make a full recovery with no adverse effects from the strokes, Freya has since completely caught up on her weight and development milestones and is showing no ill physical or mental effects from her traumatic birth. She is a smiling laughing and nearly walking, beautiful baby girl. I am blessed to share my life with two incredibly strong women and Freya has already proven herself worthy of her namesake. 🥰
Awesome riff ive been playing guitar from 15 to 48 years old and never wanted to play covers. I a nonconformist a maverick type who does things his own way to express me my own language on the fretboard. Over the years I hear riff that I've discovered jamming. One day my cousin and a guitarist also had this album and said hey cuz listen to this and instantly hear my riff maybe 90% of it was the same. I know you people will say yeah right whats your band called. Im not that player who plays for money or fame or chicks i play because i love to play. Its my therapy it saved my life its the only thing I've started and never quit.
I'm a Daughter of Freja/Freya and my kick-ass neighbor thought I'd dig this song...and I DO!!! Kinda low key embarrassed it took me this long to hear of this song and band; I was slacking, but now I'm found and am home! Rock on y'all!! ✌️🤘

Sadly metal and rock have kinda fallen off, it’ll likely eventually happen to rap but not for awhile. It’s much easier to sign rap artists because it’s a single person with little to no instruments. It’s definitely not dead but nowhere near mainstream anymore.
Nope, not true. "Awokened" is *not* a word. There are three past participles of the verb awake: "awoken", "awakened" and "awaked" (and as they are all past participles they can all be used with 'have', 'had' or 'has' (excluding some annoying ass scenarios)). Awoken is a somewhat old fashioned term (though not as unusual as awaked), but it remains grammatically correct. "Awokened", however, is nothing more than a weird hybrid which is ultimately incorrect. And anyway you used the wrong "it's" too!
