I feel that this car is overpriced. Yes, it has a better sitting arrangement and comfort and it definitely comes with a price, but 35L is not just worth it. New cars in market like XUV700, taigun(about to launch), kushaq(ignore EPC issues), creta, Harrier etc are capturing good crowd in market only because of VALUE FOR MONEY. Indian buyers need everything, all features, good seating capacity and comfort, good mileage etc, believe me or not thats the ugly truth. Hence looking at Indian automobile market, the price of jeep compass should be reconsidered if they want to survive in market. Otherwise this car will remain favorites to only high class families.

I was planning MG hector petrol sharp dct, but after watching and understanding jeep technically, will definitely plan the S model petrol dct. My only question is how responsive is dct if compared with MG because I felt it’s little laggy and the response is slow.
Also, there is no glove box and sunglasses holder in jeep which is a little disappointing more over if there were volume keys on the steering wheel it would have made things a little easier.
If I am missing on any fact do let me know, also if you can make a comparison video of hector sharp dct vs jeep s dct. It would help people to make good decisions. Thanks a ton man, I love your reviews they pitch perfect.

It has had a linear pickup but very powerful and once used to, could easily swerve through traffic.
No sunglasses holder that's k, but it does have a glove box and also volume controls and station control on the other side, both being at back place of the steering wheel which is the best easy placement I've felt so far in all driven cars. What was your point then!
What did you get to buy.. Jeep is one heck of a SUV, sturdy tough and rigid badass in triple digit speeds with sedan like planting.. What more can one ask for besides all the up to date and extensive safety features.
Recently I booked, sharp CVT (HECTOR). Hector is much better (practical) vehicle than this 4*4 jeep. Yes DCT is little laggy but again nothing is prefect. You should consider the price difference as well.

jeep compass is a nice car but I think other competitors like Tata Harrier and MG Hector provides a better package than what Jeep offers
unless you work in a place where you need 4wd.... harrier has more space and the exterior looks good, is big, but it lacks basic features like wireless charging and ventilated seats, which for 2021 standards is terrible, MG doesn't look the best outside (side profile), but you'll be in the inside anyways and it has a lot of features. tbh, for the number of features and comfort the jeep is offering, i wouldn't say its cheap but i wouldn't call it expensive either. its fairly priced. also only 17 lakh goes to the dealer (for top model, even less for lower verients) the rest, that makes it 30 lakh onroad is pure t@x....

How about its reliability to take out of station ? 😂 My car broke down twice in last 2 years .. Clutch issue within 23000 KM , Me an my family with kids had to wait in the middle of the road after a clutch broke down .. Feeling very unsafe now to take this car for long drive .. I suspect the quality of parts used in Jeep Compass @jeep

Awesome, fantastic review, technically no other products in this segment can give competition to Jeep Compass. Value for money lovers cannot afford Jeep Compass, however, value to techies can only afford this product.

@@sannttoosshh Bro you are not wrong earlier I also thought that Jeep is expensive for what it offers but I just bought the Jeep compass longitude diesel manual variant and earlier I was not even considering it but after testing both the cars.The top variant of harrier is roughly 2 lacs cheaper then the longitude variant of Compass but then even the longutude variant offers so much compared to harrier and I will explain it below
Features that are add on compared to harrier's top variant- 10.5 inch touchscreen which is miles better than the 8.5 inch unit in harrier in terms of Response and graphics,Wireless android auto and apple carplay,one-touch up and down for all windows,Dual Zone climate control,Led lights,better MID, Keyless entry for both the Doors,Led foglamps,electronic parking brake,much better camera with excellent quality,auto start-stop,better audio quality(my personal experience).
Now Tata harrier is a safe car but compass is a whole lot more safer reasons are- 5 star rated in Euro,australian and asean NCAP, laser welded body,galvanized body,Panic brake assist,Hydraulic boost failure compensation,Dynamic torque steer,all channel disc brakes,trailer sway control.
Other things that are better in Jeep compared to harrier are- ergonomically better,a level above in terms of interior quality,better badge value,better driving dynamics,better suspensions.
I guess all these things were enough for me to shell 2 lacs more on the longitude variant compared to harrier's top variant.

Itna kya complicate karna Sir ki finger break ho jaega ..it’s so easy ..barely koi impact hai hands pe..this car is between Audi/BMW and Mahindra/Tata. It is same as buying Apple iPhone over any Samsung phn where the later comes with loaded feature at a lower cost but iPhone is iPhone 😅

Colour looks great. The overall result is way more than just a face-lift. Sincerely appreciate the way jeep worked this out.
Space wise harrier does excel. The new dash the interior spot on work. Lenier engine is not for enthusiasts, you can make your peace with the ride quality and handling both. Good off road capacity.

People used to say, Jeep Compass is a poor performing and highly over priced. Not worthy, for so high prices.
Idiots like me, didnt understand this and bought it, in 2018.
In 2020, just 20 months of buying it, the battery died. Got it replaced. Didn't mind it.
Still, I believed JC is best. Because, people don't know, about this hidden features, which, normal people don't understand, because, they r non-technical.
I bought extra warranty for 5 years. I paid approx. INR 40k. It ended on 22nd May 2023. On 24th May, two days later, massive engine vibrations started reaching the passenger cabin.
When it went for 15k kms. service around 10th June 2023, LANDMARK JEEP guy called me to inform that the engine mounting is broken. A very small black rubber part to provide cushion and absorb the vibrations. Cost- 18k + tax.
Gave my go ahead. They replaced. Since, I don't go to the workshop. So, Landmark(Dealer), picked and dropped for INR 500. I, always paid, when I get the vehicle, but this time the advisor asked me to pay first, then only car will be released. So, I went and checked. Shockingly, there was no difference in vibration level, while, they had already invoiced.
I went back inside, and the driver, who came for test drive, told something to the advisor, and then, I was given an estimate of 85K INR. To which, I refused and left, after paying 30K INR. Went to a local garage. He diagnosed and told me, that one injector is troubling. Thats the issue.
Five days back, I was driving after rainfall. I am in outer area if Gurgaon. No water logging n all. But, exactly at the gate of my society, it is bowl shaped. But hardly, 10-12 inches water. Every vehicle passed through it, JC stuck, but it stopped after coming out of water. I tried to start, it did not. I tried it again, engine started with a click click sound. Drove 50m to my home and stopped it. Called a reputed workshop, he visited the car at my home and told me, valves have bent, connecting rod also bent.
Estimate INR 3 Lacs(lump sum).
Engine damage in 10 inches water. This is the great Jeep Compass.
I made a mistake, it is the same failed Fiat, only. I must have not bought it. Really, I regret that decision.
Anybody, who wants proofs and several other records of poor performanc, can drop a message, here, with ur link to Instagram ID or LinkdIn ID. It is a nightmare for me, since I purchased it....after spending INR 24 Lacs, I have bought tension, money losses, irritation, heart break. At 40k kms. my engine is being opened, bcs of 10 Inch water blockage.

All I can afford is to watch this video in 720p

Never ever buy a Jeep product. I am using Jeep from last 5 years. Require huge maintenance. Also spare parts & maintenance cost is too much. After completing 65000 Kms, shockers gone, engine mounting gone that too when it's driven on plane city roads.
Look for other brands, never buy a Jeep

Sab kuch achha hai, except the price. Its a league above the 4.3 mts segment SUV. Hence it cannot ever sell more than 600 to 800 Units per month. Jeep needs to offer sun 4 mt Compact SUV to survive in India.
At the same time they have to offer affordable Costs of Maintenance. Including Spares & Labour charges. Nahito Harrier kha jayega.
Also the present 4.3 mts offerings of Korean & German twins would dent Compass Sales also.
Cruise control is not there is 30 lakh car makes no sense (Available only in automatic variant )....makes no sense ;)

Think before buying, I own Jeep Compass which has issue with stop/ start function, the car stop in middle of the road and doesn’t start, after repeated complaints , so far no resolution from Jeep and landmark service engineers , very poorly created stop/ start function and now I have decided sell the car since no solution… car is with workshop and no idea to return back with any solution

We bought Jeep Compass in feb 2022 top variant (model S) and there is a reason why these foreign brands don’t do well in india
A) they are way pricier for lesser specs as opposed to Indian /Korean companies
B) mileage is claimed to be 14-17kmpl but for diesel manual it does not give above 9-10kmpl in city and max 11.5 kmpl on best of highways, a friends petrol automatic gives only 5kmpl (the company will blame it on our driving, ofcourse and hide it with millions in advertising and fake reviews)
C) where an auto and a Maruti celerio could cross a water filled road, the compass stopped and it’s meant for “off-roading”. Couldn’t off-road as well as a auto/celerio. Adding to another one of the many false calims the company proudly makes
D) the clutch has already gone bad in less than 6 months
E) and this is a feedback we have received from few other jeep owners - one of them faced this issue in first week of buying this low grade car
G) service - it’s been 3 weeks and every week they ask for a week more to repair so essentially we are hoping that on a optimistic side they are able to replace a clutch in one month’s time! After sales is definitely “top-notch”

There is engine problem , connectivity problem, battery problem.
Company has no sollution for my car. They told me we don’t have a sollution right now and we don’t know when it will solve. so please have some patience.
There is no reply of mail and call.
