    This is astoundingly helpful! I came to see how you set up your OGoA game, but I learned way more about Foundry in doing so. Fantastic resource!

    This is super super helpful. Cheers on the work you put into your game for your players.
    I’m currently running a home brew OGoA adventure (3 sessions in). It’s such a cool setting and Cypher is so fluid.
    Thanks for sharing how you set up Foundry.
    Question though : I’m finding it difficult to give my players actual cyphers in this setting. Any particular items from the time that you used as cyphers ?

      Hey there! So first thanks for watching and the kind words, I appreciate that!
      So as far as Cyphers go. This was a new system for my players and thus they were very reluctant to use Cyphers for the most part, so that was the first thing for me to overcome. In regards to Cyphers that were used, Witch Bottle, Plumb Bob, Poke Berry Bullets and one more I can't recall. What I did do though was randomly roll for 3 Cyphers per location my players may be exploring or spending time at. This way I ensured it was always random, I removed the pressure on myself to "decide" what Cyphers they might need and encouraged me to encourage them to use their Cyphers. I will paste an example Location note below. I will be running the next Chapter of our Old Gods game starting soon and will be sure to make some more videos about this system and setting. I hope this answered your question and thanks again for watching!
      Example Location;
      The Mountain Park Hotel
      A luxurious establishment that's popular with the affluent particularly from up North. Its Victorian architecture and grandeur are starkly different from the rest of the town. The resort contains a reception area, a ballroom, and guest rooms. It's grounds boast croquet fields and gardens.
      Harley Gibson is the Desk Attendant and the Manager of all staff at the Mountain View.
      It is rumored the Mountain View can provide entertainment previously provided by the Parlor House.
