Hi Converse, in this video, I just wanted to share that you don't need many flowers to create something beautiful. If I don't have much in my garden, I can always find a bunch of something in the produce department at the supermarket. My pears are finished now, but from my office, I can see persimmon hanging like orange lanterns, the nandina has coloured up to match & somewhere I've got orange berries & I'll find a vase to match or I'll just... hunt one down. And for me these white chrysanthemums remind me of my mother in law who loved them 🤍 You really did a GREAT job decoupaging that vase, and could do a lot with it, I’m sure! Isn’t it Van Gogh’s almond blossom painting?
Hi Jesse, you are correct, it is Van Gogh's Almond Blossom & I love it. The colours work so well with many combinations. Isn't it interesting how a flower/foliage evoke such memories. The standard white chrysanthemums remind me of my youth & the fragrance of the earth & it's that flower I associate with mothers day. 'MEMORY KEEPERS', I feel should become a new movement.
