This is probably considered the performance that launched his career around the world. While he is not yet well know in the western world he is known. He has fan clubs in 120 different countries, with millions of fans. He sells out his concerts around the world, with 5000 to 30,000 and more in attendance. He sings in every genre with ease. You can pick any song you find of his and be blown away. I would recommend you start with songs from the singer, as those are from when he was 22 years old. He is now 26 years old and his voice has improved, hard to believe, but true. Do stay away from anything to do with The Worlds Best videos. Long story on that, but the songs are edited, and cut to pieces, and the show treated him horribly. His Dears (what he calls his fans) will not appreciate those videos at all, with good reason. His new music is of a "new dimension" for him, and are fantastic, but starting at the beginning will give you a great journey. You will learn a lot about Dimash from the Dears along the way. As you're new, and since I've been watching Dimash reactions for a few years, here's a few suggestions for future reactions (or just plain enjoyment, as you prefer) : Ogni Pietra, Sinful Passion, Across Endless Dimensions, Adagio, & Screaming. There are many more to choose from -- those are just a few off the top of my head. One thing I'd like to point out. At one point in your reaction, you paused and commented on the look on one guy's face. I've seen reactors from all over the world do exactly that same thing in that exact same place, and from my perspective, here's the marvel : it's the same reaction from white boys like you, Asian men, African women, Peruvian transvestites, you name it. People EVERYWHERE on Earth are freaking entirely out at this man's talent, and "sounds like an angel" is a VERY common observation. It's just stunning. I'm convinced he has the best voice on Earth. Great reaction guys. I just found your channel. Dimash, singing SOS here in 2017 in French, is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. In this performance, he is 22, competing against famous professional singers in China in a popular annual competition show called “The Singer” where the audience phones in to determine the winner for each of the 13 or 14 episodes. This was the very first episode of the Singer competition. He was chosen to go first because he was considered the weakest since no one in China had ever heard of him. He was initially invited as a wildcard and was the first foreigner and youngest person to ever compete in this show. He didn't speak Chinese and had to have a translator with him at all times. After this performance, he was immediately catapulted to worldwide stardom and became a pop superstar in China overnight. He competed against all seasoned and popular performers and he won the first two episodes! He also won the 6th, which was Adagio. He starts out by playing the piano and in a turquoise suit (the color of the Kazakh flag). It's an amazing performance and in my opinion the best of all his Adagio performances. He is also famous in Russia mainly for his neo-classical work with Igor Krutoy and many of those works are very operatic, but he has now introduced pop songs there too.

This is from The Singer tv show in China in 2017 and is not a competition like The Voice, but instead is a contest for experienced, well-known singers, by invitation only. Dimash was asked as an experiment, as - although already prize-winning - he had never sung in China before and was completely unknown to the audience, who were overwhelmed, as you can see! He was then a 22-year-old music student, and is still studying aged 26, for his PhD in musicology. Dimash sings in 12 languages and speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, and is learning English and Mandarin - so don’t forget to press the CC button for subtitles, as most of the videos on his channel have them, if he’s not singing in English!

Dimash will turn 27 in May 2021. He started training when he was 5 years old. He has university degrees in classical and contemporary music, a masters in composition, and is currently working in his doctorate. Besides his musical talent which includes absolute pitch, about a 6-1/2 octave range, and singing many different musical genres, he has an IQ that is probably off the charts. He has also directed some of his music videos. Dimash has sung in 12 languages, speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently and is working on English and Mandarin. He plays several instruments. He is a world humanitarian, provided an enormous amount of food to his countryman last year during the pandemic, does a great deal of benefit concerts, and is an official ambassador for his beloved country. Dimash has a deep love and loyalty to his music, his family, children, old folks, and his Dears (his fans). He is grateful, humble, and goofy. I have listened to him for about about 2 years now. I have heard Dimash on big and small stages, in celebrations, in competitions, on TV shows, and many more. I have heard him sing healthy, sick, exhausted, sad, and gleefully happy, but I have never heard him make a musical mistake. Not accurate. He is not 'huge' in China.....reasonably popular......very popular foreign singer in China. He is still a popular celebrity in China but not 'huge' the way you meant it. Zhou Shen, Kris Wu, Jackson Wang are some of the 'huge' name in China currently.....with huge cf endorsements contracts like BULGARI jewellery, Cartier, etc.... But Dimash is different.....he mainly appeared on shows that presents real talent, skills rather than commercially packaged popularity....though that doesn't mean those names mentioned as well as others are not skilled or talented.....just less so when compared to Dimash. But then when you compare Dimash to anyone else around the world.....he is still in different league where talent and skills are concerned.

You haven’t seen anything jet!!! This is about 1/3 or so what he can do! It's so fun for us "Dears" (that’s what Dimash calls his fans because he loves us as a dear family) to see how people react to him. Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his Dimash got many new friends from this show and he said at some point he learned a lot from it to. Great reaction, thanks. Lots of terrific songs out there, almost every one is a masterpiece and will surprise you. You might want to check out his cover of Queen's "Show Must Go On", or Sinful Passion, or a new pop/rock/world music song just released called Kieli Meken.. He's studied singing since he was 5, and still practices 3 hours a day, still works with a teacher to expand his skills. It's fun to pay attention to the dates of each performance (this one was 2017, age 22) because his voice is still changing and maturing. He has a gorgeous baritone now that seems to have really started coming into its own in 2019 +, and continues to get richer. The song Kieli Meken doesn't have the vocal acrobatics that so many of his songs do, but it shows off his performance skills in pop/rock. Even has a rap feel for awhile in the beginning.
Funny story about this performance. It was on a Chinese talent show called "I Am A Singer" (or "The Singer") that is a talent competition show for professional singers. The people you see in the green room are other singers there to perform. Anyway, they were looking for someone to open the show, and someone said "Hey, I heard this kind from Khazikstan is pretty good, how about him?" He was quickly signed to a contract so he could perform on the show. None of the other singers knew who he was at the time. They wanted him to perform first to open the show and my man walks out and drops that on them.

There is nothing outstanding about this vocalist.........everybody can sing like that........on the planet he comes from. That planet allows one immigrant at a time on other planets, so yeah, he is the best on THIS planet. Seriously, this is the best vocalist i have ever heard and i have been listening to music since i was born 70 years ago. I'm not even a fan of this genre but he defies categorization.
Oh lucky you, congratulations you just Discovered the greatest singer in the known universe! This was his breakout performance on a Chinese reality TV show in 2017. Following on from this performance with 'Opera 2' from the same show and then chronologically from there is the best way to watch him grow and become even better today. He is the best singer in the Universe, every song is different and all are great, he sings every genre of music, opera, rock hard and soft style, jazz, R&B, pop, rap, any type music he can do it all and has done it. he is singer, composer, plays many instruments, fashion model, dancer, actor, and just totally amazing. He has sold out concerts around the world, with super large and devoted fan base. Fans will fly around the world just to attend a concert no matter the location. SOS was a song in a Chinese contest he was in where all were professionals but him, this performance you just watched he became famous overnight when more than 600 million became fans in China, and he had to have bodyguards the next day. He sings like what he does is no effort or problem, but no one else can do what he does. The more you see him perform, the more you want to see more.

This is probably considered the performance that launched his career around the world. While he is not yet well know in the western world he is known. He has fan clubs in 120 different countries, with millions of fans. He sells out his concerts around the world, with 5000 to 30,000 and more in attendance. He sings in every genre with ease. You can pick any song you find of his and be blown away. I would recommend you start with songs from the singer, as those are from when he was 22 years old. He is now 26 years old and his voice has improved, hard to believe, but true.
Do stay away from anything to do with The Worlds Best videos. Long story on that, but the songs are edited, and cut to pieces, and the show treated him horribly. His Dears (what he calls his fans) will not appreciate those videos at all, with good reason. His new music is of a "new dimension" for him, and are fantastic, but starting at the beginning will give you a great journey. You will learn a lot about Dimash from the Dears along the way. As you're new, and since I've been watching Dimash reactions for a few years, here's a few suggestions for future reactions (or just plain enjoyment, as you prefer) : Ogni Pietra, Sinful Passion, Across Endless Dimensions, Adagio, & Screaming. There are many more to choose from -- those are just a few off the top of my head.
One thing I'd like to point out. At one point in your reaction, you paused and commented on the look on one guy's face. I've seen reactors from all over the world do exactly that same thing in that exact same place, and from my perspective, here's the marvel : it's the same reaction from white boys like you, Asian men, African women, Peruvian transvestites, you name it. People EVERYWHERE on Earth are freaking entirely out at this man's talent, and "sounds like an angel" is a VERY common observation. It's just stunning. I'm convinced he has the best voice on Earth.

Great reaction guys. I just found your channel. Dimash, singing SOS here in 2017 in French, is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. In this performance, he is 22, competing against famous professional singers in China in a popular annual competition show called “The Singer” where the audience phones in to determine the winner for each of the 13 or 14 episodes. This was the very first episode of the Singer competition. He was chosen to go first because he was considered the weakest since no one in China had ever heard of him. He was initially invited as a wildcard and was the first foreigner and youngest person to ever compete in this show. He didn't speak Chinese and had to have a translator with him at all times. After this performance, he was immediately catapulted to worldwide stardom and became a pop superstar in China overnight.
He competed against all seasoned and popular performers and he won the first two episodes! He also won the 6th, which was Adagio. He starts out by playing the piano and in a turquoise suit (the color of the Kazakh flag). It's an amazing performance and in my opinion the best of all his Adagio performances. He is also famous in Russia mainly for his neo-classical work with Igor Krutoy and many of those works are very operatic, but he has now introduced pop songs there too.

This is from The Singer tv show in China in 2017 and is not a competition like The Voice, but instead is a contest for experienced, well-known singers, by invitation only. Dimash was asked as an experiment, as - although already prize-winning - he had never sung in China before and was completely unknown to the audience, who were overwhelmed, as you can see! He was then a 22-year-old music student, and is still studying aged 26, for his PhD in musicology.
Dimash sings in 12 languages and speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, and is learning English and Mandarin - so don’t forget to press the CC button for subtitles, as most of the videos on his channel have them, if he’s not singing in English!

Dimash will turn 27 in May 2021. He started training when he was 5 years old. He has university degrees in classical and contemporary music, a masters in composition, and is currently working in his doctorate. Besides his musical talent which includes absolute pitch, about a 6-1/2 octave range, and singing many different musical genres, he has an IQ that is probably off the charts. He has also directed some of his music videos. Dimash has sung in 12 languages, speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently and is working on English and Mandarin. He plays several instruments. He is a world humanitarian, provided an enormous amount of food to his countryman last year during the pandemic, does a great deal of benefit concerts, and is an official ambassador for his beloved country. This was his first performance in a Chinese show called "The Singer". (He spoke no Chinese at this time) He competed against already known artists, he was known as a wild card as no one had heard him before. He was the first to sing in the show. (No pressure lol) After this episode aired he had to have security follow him everywhere. He is HUGE in China now and is gaining popularity around the world. This was back in 2017, he was 23 at the time. He's going to be 27 this year.
This is his 2nd performance on the show. This is a cover of "Opera 2". (Russian).

Not accurate. He is not 'huge' in China.....reasonably popular......very popular foreign singer in China. He is still a popular celebrity in China but not 'huge' the way you meant it. Zhou Shen, Kris Wu, Jackson Wang are some of the 'huge' name in China currently.....with huge cf endorsements contracts like BULGARI jewellery, Cartier, etc.... But Dimash is different.....he mainly appeared on shows that presents real talent, skills rather than commercially packaged popularity....though that doesn't mean those names mentioned as well as others are not skilled or talented.....just less so when compared to Dimash. But then when you compare Dimash to anyone else around the world.....he is still in different league where talent and skills are concerned.

It's so fun for us "Dears" (that’s what Dimash calls his fans because he loves us as a dear family) to see how people react to him.
Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's
They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his
Dimash got many new friends from this show and he said at some point he learned a lot from it to.

Great reaction, thanks. Lots of terrific songs out there, almost every one is a masterpiece and will surprise you. You might want to check out his cover of Queen's "Show Must Go On", or Sinful Passion, or a new pop/rock/world music song just released called Kieli Meken.. He's studied singing since he was 5, and still practices 3 hours a day, still works with a teacher to expand his skills. It's fun to pay attention to the dates of each performance (this one was 2017, age 22) because his voice is still changing and maturing. He has a gorgeous baritone now that seems to have really started coming into its own in 2019 +, and continues to get richer. The song Kieli Meken doesn't have the vocal acrobatics that so many of his songs do, but it shows off his performance skills in pop/rock. Even has a rap feel for awhile in the beginning.

Funny story about this performance.
It was on a Chinese talent show called "I Am A Singer" (or "The Singer") that is a talent competition show for professional singers. The people you see in the green room are other singers there to perform.
Anyway, they were looking for someone to open the show, and someone said "Hey, I heard this kind from Khazikstan is pretty good, how about him?" He was quickly signed to a contract so he could perform on the show. None of the other singers knew who he was at the time. They wanted him to perform first to open the show and my man walks out and drops that on them.

There is nothing outstanding about this vocalist.........everybody can sing like that........on the planet he comes from. That planet allows one immigrant at a time on other planets, so yeah, he is the best on THIS planet. Seriously, this is the best vocalist i have ever heard and i have been listening to music since i was born 70 years ago. I'm not even a fan of this genre but he defies categorization.

This was his breakout performance on a Chinese reality TV show in 2017. Following on from this performance with 'Opera 2' from the same show and then chronologically from there is the best way to watch him grow and become even better today. He is the best singer in the Universe, every song is different and all are great, he sings every genre of music, opera, rock hard and soft style, jazz, R&B, pop, rap, any type music he can do it all and has done it. he is singer, composer, plays many instruments, fashion model, dancer, actor, and just totally amazing. He has sold out concerts around the world, with super large and devoted fan base. Fans will fly around the world just to attend a concert no matter the location. SOS was a song in a Chinese contest he was in where all were professionals but him, this performance you just watched he became famous overnight when more than 600 million became fans in China, and he had to have bodyguards the next day. He sings like what he does is no effort or problem, but no one else can do what he does. The more you see him perform, the more you want to see more.
