So sweet! I got my first CPK in 1986 and I still have her along with her adoption papers. However, I went to Babyland General for the first time in 2021. I adopted a new baby from there and I have been going back every December since then. My sister has given me 3 more CPKs so I now have a family of 5.

My mom loves to tell the story of the first time she took me here. My grandma wanted to adopt me the baby that had just been born, so that I would have an official collectible Cabbage Patch kid, but I threw a fit apparently because I just wanted the plastic one from the gift store that could go in the tub with you. Oh children lol. My poor mimi, trying to do something nice and there I am just hanging out with my bottom lip out. It came back full circle when we took my niece and nephew and she didn't even want a doll, just a small plastic cell phone she found in a bin. But at least that was only $5 lol
