Your company sells gloss bars and yet here you are showing us how to make our own. WOW! I am so impressed and grateful. Proves that your really care about your viewers and customers. I already ordered about 5 times from your company since Black Friday. Next week I am buying the amla oil and amla powder! Bless you!
I never thought of creating this bar using Fenugreek. My hair desperately needs slip constantly. This will be perfect to use when I take down my braids.
Amla is full of vitamin C and prevents hair fall. I was introduced to Amla about 2 years ago and it's what I call a unisex herb, you can use it to cleanse and condition your hair. It can also be used for dandruff which my husband has found beneficial for his scalp. Fenugreek well I could say so much about this herb and what it has done for my hair, the shine it delivers is impeccable, the slip is in a class by itself, helps to retain length and a superb conditioner. These 2 paired together with some oils or butters of choice is a well nourished, moisturizing, hydrating recipe.
The whole process is new to me especially learning how to store them to keep them from attracting bacteria which is a main concern for me when it comes to DIY natural haircare products. Would really like to learn more about natural preservatives and how to use them in the products being made at home! But yeah I love 💗 all of the content that you make as it is knowledgeable and extremely helpful in navigating what products to use to address specific issues or needs. Especially for someone like me who recently had a traumatic experience happen to them that caused some hair loss and is now learning new ways to restore my hair. Thank you for your teachings and I can’t wait to learn more! 💗
I’ve been a Henna Sooq customer for almost a year now and my hair loves your henna -Red Raj, Rajasthani, Moroccan. This video informed me that Amla powder, one of my ‘go to’ herbs, is very potent. Your explanation was clear and made sense. Thank you! And thanks for the DIY gloss bar tutorial.
Yeeesss!! I have done a similar recipe a few times, and also used bhringraj powder, some times Sukesh Ayurveda😉; Shea, kokum and/or mango butter; sweet almond or camellia oil; honey for added moisture; and rosemary and sweet orange essential oil. I looooooove DIY and Henna Sooq herbs and powders make it so easy to create different bars for prepooing or conditioning. And silicone molds make it convenient to do months of treatments at one time.
I’m excited to try this recipe. I learned that if you are using water, you need to be careful of leaving it at room temperature or in the refrigerator to avoid bacteria. Thank you for sharing this information.
I did not know any of this. I am so new to doing this. My hair type is 4a/b. I loved how you where able to highlight the design that will be on the top of the bar. Thanks for doing this.
I just started my HennaSooq journey and my hair has improved so much. It doesn't look dead and lifeless any more! I hope to try my hand at dying my hair with Henna soon.
I learned that amla exists! Haha I had no idea about it. I'm now glad I do since my hair really struggles, especially with hormone issues. Thanks for the video!

Thank You Henna Sooq
I have 3B hair and I am growing out a buzzed platinum pixie. I just bought your Amla oil and fenugreek powder, I have never used either one. I am looking forward to using it and recording how fast my hair will grow out! Thanks for the video.
what I learned: I learned that you can blend the mixture to make it smoother. That actually makes sense considering the mixture can be a little difficult to wash out if it’s not completely smooth. I also learned that aloe vera powder is. thing. I had no idea! i’m excited about this give away 😁
The gloss bars came out amazing! Would definitely like to try for my hair!!!! Looked very easy to make, I have very kinky coarse dry brittle hair, and I have alopecia only in my nape area for over 30 years, I’m happy to have hair when my alopecia doesn’t flare up every few years! Great video!😊
I've been making my own gloss bars for a couple of months now since coming across Amy's RUclips channel it was her avocado fenugreek base that caught my eye, I started doing it as well went and brought me some molds on amazon now I do a gloss bar with bananas, fenugreek, amla, zizyphus and brazil nut oil my hair has been thriving ever since the softness and shine I get is crazy.
I have 4c hair and my hair LOVES all of your products. I started on my ayurvedic journey in July and purchased/used the Goddess herbs first. So, I am a newbie. I can honestly see that using your products have been a game changer for my hair. I have been natural for a year now and my hair hasn't seen such definition until I started to use your products. Wow! I love this video. I have been a subscriber for close to a year. I went natural a year and a half ago. And I must say it had been a struggle until I started watching your videos. I have 4c hair. And it needs a lot of moisture. I use your tea as a spritz and I love the Organic and Rajasthani Indian Henna. I also bought your Amla powder but, have not used it. I was really surprised with the use of coconut oil! And I would love to tried the bars. Thank you so much for helping us naturals to care for our hair naturally.
I never knew creating my own gloss bars could be such an easy and efficient DIY. This video taught me the effectiveness of blending the single herbs before mixing. I’m excited to try this! I have all the ingredients at home, but I’ll be purchasing some Amla oil to add to the recipe. Thank you for the great content! 🙏🏾
I have 4c thin hair, and I really enjoyed this fyi and would to try. I am wanting to try your products. I'm a new to this process. Thanks for the opportunity.
I learned that you can use Amla powder and Amla oil together in the same recipe. I also learned that a preservative is not always necessary, but you have to freeze it and use it in a timely manner.

Hi, first of all thank you for making this video and I think I want to make it with my mom:) but. Can you tell me how I can use it? Is it supposed to be more of a leave in conditner or shampoo?
Hi my hair type is low porosity thin and fine hair and I love the fact that I learned that you can mix A different type of mixture for coding at the top
Great vid 😊 I use amazing amla & fenugreek on my edges weekly. And fenugreek & aloe mix on rest of my hair. My current hair goal is to thicken my edges 🤍🙌🏾 and keep my hair hydrated 💫
I have 4C hair and have been using your products for the last 2 years. I LOVE them and these tutorials are really helpful. My hair is high porosity so I am always looking for ways to retain moisture, strength and encourage growth. I will definitely be making these bars. Now I am looking for the those trays :)
I’m low porosity so adding the butter was a highlight for me. It will also give me another use for the amla oil that I’ve purchased from you. Currently I only use the amla oil to coat the end of my hair whenever I put my strands in twists or plats.
I’m new so I have to ask how do you use this bar? Also I’ve noticed that Amala straightens my curls is there any suggestions as I love the darkening effect softness and sheen it gives me.
I would love to win these. My hair fell out in July of 2020 while taking care of someone who was healing. I've been natural every since and trying new growth products will be a blessing to my natural growth journey🙏🙏🙏
These gloss bars are so easy to make! I will definitely have to try them! I used to make soap so I have plenty of silicone molds around! I just know my hair will love it!
Can't wait to make this!! Better yet if you sell the this I'll just buy some. I didn't realize you could mix fenugreek with amla. I feel like I'm so nervous to add to much strength to my hair at once.
All the ingredients are new to me, would love to have one of the bars for my hair because I am bald. Thanks again for this information, I have learned a lot. Peace and blessings.
Always great things to learn. Learning how to do DIY gloss is going to be a life savor. Look forward to trying some with color like Hibiscus and Henna. Thanks so much for this tutorial. Very informative.
Hello. Our gloss bars are easy to use. Prewash your hair with one of our shampoo bars or hair washes. Melt your gloss bar in a double boiler or small crock pot (do not microwave), allow it to cool, and apply directly to your hair. Leave on for about 1-2 hours as a deep conditioning treatment. Rinse out with warm water or our Cleansing CoWash. Moisturize, dry, and style as usual.
Thanks to this video I learned that (almost) any Ayurvedic powder can be a gloss bar ❤️ I bought a few herbs right before Winter break and spent a whole day hydrating, straining and mixing Herbal gloss bars and Henna gloss bars. I didn’t even use half of all my herbs 😆 now I have enough bars to alternate every two weeks for the entire year! 💪🏾 Now I’m trying to make an herbal shampoo/beauty bar. Not as easy as the gloss bars, but still a lot of fun 😁 thanks for a lovely video!

These DIY hair glosses look great and I want to make this recipe. Growth and moisture is just what my hair craves. I have type 4 graying hair and want to stay gray. I hope not since I already have several packs of Henna Sooq Amla. Thank you! 💕 💕
Thanks so much . I am in love with your products. I am new to gloss bars . This will be a game changer for me. I will try this method today. Hey there. I would love to receive one of the bars. I am 3C, 4A and 4B (all the above). I didn’t know that mixture could harden at room temperature, with preservatives. I’m always open to learning something new so I’ll leave that tip in the toolbox for now. I’m currently on a hibiscus, fenugreek and amla challenge and would love to try this recipe.
What I learned: I thought amla oil was made by steeping an oil in alma powder. It was interesting to hear that it's made with an amla extract and is less effective than alma power.
Hi - I would love to win! My hair type is naturally 4c super curly hair. I had no idea you could mix all these ingredients to make a gloss bar. I’m excited to give it a try and add to my regular hair growth regimen. Thanks for the valuable information 🙏🏾

Love this diy gloss bar recipe. I love blending essential oils for hair and beauty. I find it to be fun and relaxing. I've never tried making my own gloss bar, but with this recipe I think I will. I have wavy, low porosity thin to medium hair and hair growth & retention is my number one priority. Would love to try this gloss bar. Thank you so much for the recipe. 🥰
Do you use these as a deep conditioner?
I like this i find it so convenient i am so busy but i want to have nice hair o have radiation medications which is severe hair loss and i am so tired but this process allows me to keep my ayuredic hair schedule and i can customize it to my need at that time buy making different bar's all at once and just take them out and use them this is great.
I have all your ingredients but the oil but i will be making a big order soon because i am waiting for cold weather to order some more of your gloss bars.
So how do you use the finished gloss bar? Please excuse my ignorance - this is new to me.
New subbie. So glad to find your channel. 😊
Would definitely purchased these pre-made gloss bars if you sold them.
What I learned: I thought amla oil was made by steeping an oil in alma powder. It was interesting to hear that it's made with an amla extract and is less effective than alma power.
How do I get the recipe? That bar is perfect for me.
How long would these hold up in the freezer?
What can we add as a natural preservative for them to be stored under room temperature?
Hi - I would love to win! My hair type is naturally 4c super curly hair. I had no idea you could mix all these ingredients to make a gloss bar. I’m excited to give it a try and add to my regular hair growth regimen. Thanks for the valuable information 🙏🏾
Please explain how to use this shampoo soap, does I need to keep in hair for few minutes
I would definitely make these, so pretty! So did you get the silicone purple thing from Amazon?❤️
I'm 4c and what was new to me was the blended fenugreek with the aloe vera. I didnt know you could blend to a consistancy like that. I'd love to know more about that process. ❤
if I put preservative can it stay together months is I take it out of the fridge
Can I use a steamer with this conditioning bar?
I'm new !I just found your channel! I now can make hair treatment bars and take better care of my hair. I learned alma powder is more powerful than alma oil. I like the idea of being able to freeze them. I never would have thought if that. Thank you!
Hello, what I learned or gathered is that this is very gentle on hair which is very fragile yet Amla and fenugreek is for sure a life saver for the hairs on your head. I'm new to your channel. I'm in the process of growing my hair very long. I also us a concoction that has black rice, fenugreek, amla coffee beans black seed oil and castor oil to get the process rolling on my hair and scalp. I would really like to try your bar of hair goodness. Thank you for all the time you put into your videos to help us achieve or hair growth goals. 🤗👍
