Great review! My girlfriend has the Roland DJ-808 in her studio and I really enjoy playing with it. The midi sync out is crucial for me because I use Volcas and Akai MPC as well as Arturia controllers/sequencer. The DJ-202 with midi at just under the $300 price point is brilliant. I absolutely agree that more and more, djs are becoming producer/performers. Great video!

I have the 505 and the sampler is interesting.. It's not a full sampler like the EMAX or those software samplers with envelopes/lfos, etc. The sampler on the DJ is more of a single hit sequence spikes.. I like it.. As long as I put in the right sounds.. The CUE is amazing..

Yo this video was very informative and to be honest i wasn't even considering buying this controller but now i am thinking it seriousy.
I am a turntablist and i started getting into production too,i am thinking about dj 202(bc of this video) or my initial thought was numark nv7fx(because of the motorized jog wheels).

I'm thinking of returning to a Dj. I use to turntables, the 1210 Mk2. I'm torn between the DDJ400 because of Rekordbox, and the 202 because of drum machine. Any advice?
