Hi Thanks, could you please explain the logic for the height of the Surface Boxes at the end? Ie. what are the logics of these Culled heights? many thanks!
hi, when I do the surface box command and plug in the construct domain 2 component, and insert the height, I do not get the box profile as per the video. (U and V). The height raises only along U curves and not along V curves. How could I correct this ? Please do help.
I love this tutorial, and thank you for sharing. I have one question though, I am trying to do the same thing but using a freeform surface instead of a planar grid - I see this causes problems in reading the edge curves in order to create surfaces from points, would you have any experience with this or could you suggest a solution?
Grasshopper is a tool, a great tool, I agree with that. If urbanism is a goal, you can use the best tools and still produce something completely different from what you claim it is. If your goal is to play with some components than you produce something else. I would call it a "parametric 3d pattern" and thanks for sharing that. :) But please don't oversimplify things as important as public space. I think you understand the difference, but less knowledgable people could get bad impressions about the ways to achieve some things.
Thanks for that tutorial, it’s very interesting result and process.
Can we download somewhere these building typologies you had prepared?
pro trick: you can watch series at Flixzone. Been using them for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.
@Darian Max yea, I've been watching on Flixzone} for since december myself :D
I seem to be getting an error with the flip matrix component - any clue on what I could be doing wrong?
yes! you might have missed "flattening the arithmetic meaning of Average" command. I did make the same mistake =)

Do we have to start with a grid? Can we use a amorphous form instead?
I want that grid stays in what I draw. I tried to set a geometry but I could not connect the grid with geometry and the rest of them.
hi, i just have a question about the first part, why you put a text with -1 into cull index?
just like index 0 is the first item in a list, Index -1 is the last item
Thanks lots for this. :D
Please, don't call it urbanism.
Get off your architectural high horse
