I'm soo glad someone mentioned the horrible pacing in paleteria. I mostly play while listening to music or a yt video. It's so boring holding the boost button for every order I really wished you could up the difficulty
Yeah, like the previous game Cluckeria is fun because you have to manage 2 timers on different stations. This game just feels like Freezeria but with angles most of the time lol. The best thing you can do is make the closer's order early but pausing to see their order seems cringe. However you can't complain about the variety of ingredients and atmosphere.

idk if you read comments on older videos but i'm binging this playlist so asdjbsaf anyway i wanted to say that i've had this criticism of papa's games for a while, they're too slow now. another thing is that they take forever to 100%, like i've been going through all papa's games and the early ones are SO good with the pacing, challenge and time to 100% (all gold customers). if you go play papa's pizzeria now, it's like night and day. customers come in literally every like 15 seconds and it's chaotic. of course they shouldn't be THAT difficult, i'm just giving an example. older games also had the advantage of more customers and no holidays. holidays ruin the pacing for 100% because i believe that when you get 1 gold customer that likes that holiday or something, they start visiting the restaurant. pancakeria is probably the most interesting example, as it actually only has 7 customers, but they come in really quickly and can easily overwhelm you if you don't keep up. also, gold customers do not visit until the very end when there are less than 6 non-gold customers, which is fantastic! things they could do to improve this: - increase the number of customers per day, even just by 2 (add 1 extra non-holiday and one holiday customer per day). - improve the pacing. this has been a problem for years, and it mostly comes from the crash in the middle of the day when no customers come for WAY too long. - this one's gonna be very unpopular, but decrease the number of customers. it's just going to keep increasing with each day and it'll only be more and more unreasonable to 100% them as time goes on (some literally take almost 400 days). not to mention that it doesn't really make sense how every customer goes to every restaurant. - stop closers from showing up after they're gold. they take up 1 customer slot that could be very valuable. heck, they can introduce new ones after the original 7 are gold! it's not like you won't have time to gold them too! and jojo could be replaced by his brother, jeanpierre or something idk that's the most french name i could think of. anyway a new critic would be cool! maybe they could be even tougher on you than regular closers (like, only give a thumbs up if you have 90% in a station) and maybe they could have more difficult orders (always full order tickets) - do something about the holiday customers, it's unfair how gold customers can show up so early. make them like the older games where they don't show up until the very end when there's no non-gold customers left. - i saw someone in the comments saying how they should let you choose your difficulty, and i agree! (or was that in the video i don't even remember). i know a lot of people like the slow turn-off-your-brain gameplay of the new games that focuses on the building, but there's also a lot of us who want to play it as a time management game, like the old ones were! - this is the most nitpicky one so far, but add more stickers! you don't have to stick to 90 stickers for every game and have them be basically the same, play around with them, give players more silly tasks to do! the ones that exists are already pretty fun and unique but not as much when they've been the same for the past 17 games. - MAKE A PAPA LOUIE 4 (/hj but if they do papa should be the villain) dkjfgdakjfgdk even just doing a couple of these things would make their games more enjoyable, like the good ol' flash games that we remember so fondly. i love this franchise and i hate seeing how it has devolved over the years. i guess making so many similar games has you running out of ideas eventually and just sticking to what works, but it honestly doesn't work anymore. sorry for the long essay (which i don't even know if you'll read lol) but i just wanted to share my thoughts and spread the word on these concerns. i wish we could say these words directly to matt and tony, but they'd probably ignore it, especially if it's only a handful of people.
okay essay! but no you're so correct. i wouldn't say the games have devolved, but i do think there is so much room for improvements that should be explored. besides that, i agree with all of your points. i've been replaying hot doggeria and i love how you get 9 customers a day that come quickly. you're always on your feet and i love it. nowadays we have 150 or whatever customers, and i do think it's silly we're still getting 7 customers in a day in the new games. by the time you've got all gold customers it'll be day 300, maybe even 400, which would be a lot more fun to get to if the days were quicker and more varied. now i wanna make a video about this. thanks for the idea xoxo

quite easy, love how colourful it is, good selection of holidays, the to-go controls don’t annoy me compared to other games, pretty cool new customers, but i don’t like the slow pacing and the lack of any new or innovative features 9/10 game in my opinion
