I'm seeing a lot of people online using a siphon for removing the old oil and someone even mentioned that Audi recommends this method. I would especially appreciate hearing from a certified tech regarding this or anyone else with extensive car knowledge.
Yes this is a method you can use. We have a unit designed to vacuum the oil out of the engine - it works well, does take some time to do a full change but is certainly very easy to do compared to doing it on the ground. @@frankiecorrea1004 Personally, this oil is not VW 504/507 approved so I would NOT use it. I would use either: LM Top Tec 4200 5w30 OR Mobil 1 ESP 5w30.
Typically the original drain plug can be re-used once or twice, but as it is fairly inexpensive and made of plastic, replacing with new on each change is recommended.
The factory recommends 10,000 miles. We usually recommend 5,000 miles or just slightly more, depending on the driving conditions the car sees, and how you drive.

Yes, but in this situation only because the drain plug is to the rear and this helps to drain more oil.

Pretty sure yes you can, the a3 s line is different than the a3 base model, both s3 and a3 carry the 2.0t engine, so don't mess that up!
