Hello friends, I am Omar from Syria. I have a lot of experience in making brooms from straw, and I am ready to travel so that I can teach anyone who wants how to make this broom in an artisanal way.
I loved this but I was hoping that the video would teach me how to do this. But still a beautiful piece. I just really want to learn how to do this. Maybe you could do a step by step. I’m not sure what tool your using to do that loop and pull thing either.
The string Eva is using is #18 La Espiga from this site: creativeyarnsource.com/shop/about-nylon/18-la-espiga2/ The equipment the string is on is a handmade kickwinder. The plans for it is on this site: xa.yimg.com/kq/groups/2nlazMTreNnwtSlh2g--/EI1_3ZTqf9avUVPEhVM-/name/How+To+Part+1.pdf
Great video! I started making small brooms this past winter and I have blunted several of my kitchen knives and shears. I cannot seem to find any place that sells broom knives. Can you point me towards a place that offers them?
Hey, i wanted to make some paint brushes with my children, after watching your amazing video, you are very talented. Please may I ask where you would get the bristle material from, I'm having a real problem finding it. Many thanks

All knives and scissors get blunt when you use them. That is why you take them to a professional knife sharpener for a touch up.
Beautiful hair
Holy crap, it’s beautiful it the music almost gave me a seizure lmao😂
