Best midfielder in football history…by far. No one at his level
Not dissing on your work, but the words "flop" and "modric" just don't go along in the same sentence. And your video proves it. Modric might have had some slow adaptation periods and a couple of injuries but nothing to do with "flop". If anything, he succeeded at every club he's been with.

A goal from free kick that wasn't a foul in the first place, a penalty because of joke VAR(with the actual hand ball rules, it wouldn't be a penalty) that set France for that final but even with such advantage Croatia managed to come back twice but were physically washed up in second half because they played extra time in every knock out stage.

your thing about why he was not in top form at madrid is not correct, modric didnt go with tottenham team durning pre season camp (cause he requested a transfer) and was signed by real madrid at the end of the pre season, so he basically had no pre season camp and couldnt play at his best for 90 min
Modric decided not to go for tottenham's pre-season because he wanted to leave the club. so if anything it's down to the player and Mourinho.

@@footydiary don't you tell me about Rooney lol. Been a hardcore United fan since 1996...Wayne Rooney was an attacker, he played as a CF or a second striker. True, later, near the end of his career he was shifted back into midfield, so was Giggs btw, but he was an attacker and isn't well suited in this story to take him as an example among Xavi, Iniesta or Pirlo. You could have used many other players as examples.
