Not a commercial success but did get a lot of play in the UK (the above version of the song remixed by Stock Aitken & Waterman) borrowing queues from "Princess- Say I'm Your Number 1 (another SAW product). Great song, great remix, poor video. Thanks for posting it - this remix has been unavailable on CD until the recent release of their True Confessions remastered CD in 2007.
This video was indeed from the program 'In At The Deep End' - a show where the host tries his hand at doing something that he has never done before. For this particular episode, he decided to take on the challenge of directing a music video. Unfortunately the girls did not like the final result and chose to re-shoot the music video in the States. I personally like this version.
Yes I think you're right. IIRC Higney also got to play a role in the Michael Cane film "Water" as part of the same series. I wonder if the other presenter, Chris Serle, did anything particularly memorable? They really ought to show that series again. I remember one week them having a go as race car drivers and fairing particularly badly.

@bingoace I agree that SAW decorated their production with too many sparkly beats that were identical to everything else they produced. The remix for "More Than Physical" was feh... I agree with that. It was the unfortunate dance music transition. Give me the Bananas with the dandelion haircuts, overalls, and post Specials percussion sounds of Deep Sea Skiving!
the music is better on this one but the other video is less amateur. still, this video is good and i know they said something about it not being 'surprising' or something like that. not enough variety. but i think there's enough. it's not the greatest, but it's better than some others.
I much prefer the other version, both video and song itself, but considering the circumstances, this video is a decent effort. The song is a shambles though.
Dreadful quality but still prefer this version, it was made for a TV program where the presenter attempted to conceive, direct and produce a pop video. Bananarama wanted black and white. In the end they went with a colour video. I remember the cat from 35 years ago after only seeing this once. Thanks for posting.
I remember them moaning on "In At The Deep End" that the opening of the video didn't show the three of them together as a group. So why did they reshoot a video which never showed the three of them together. Prefer this version myself!
I prefer this version to the depressing album version with sax and American sounding production. Though it was a terrible choice for a single. There were at least 3 other songs that were better choices from that album: "Hooked On Love", "Ready or Not" or "True Confessions"

This video is better than the colour one, but the album version by Swain and Jolly is much better than the S.A.W. version. They screwed it up the same way they did with More Than Physical. Then again S.A.W. were well known for screwing up songs with their unecessary and annoying bells and whistles!
Perfect. I could never decide which one of the ladies I like the best. They are all great.
