Thank you! What I really need to do is explain the different types of lasers in a separate video. These are great machines for sewists to consider having in their inventory!
Hi, are you able to show how you did both an engrave, stroke line around the text and also the cut (in Lightburn). I am obviously new to this but that stroke line sharpens it so beautifully. Thank you.
Yes! I'll add that to my list of tutorials to cover. For now, here's steps: 1. Make a layer for a fill engraving. Do this at whatever depth you want. 2. Shift + click on the fill engraving layer to select it all. 3. Right-click on the selection in the workspace and select "Clone" 4. Click on one of the other colors along the palette at the bottom of Lightburn to assign that cloned selection to a new layer. 5. Set that new layer to Line for scoring. Give it a faster speed and lower power than you would a typical score. You'll have to play around with this and do some tests. For me it's just a very light pass. Pretty much the same kind of score I'd do to mark where a cut out shape should be glued down. 6. Layer order should be: full engrave, outline score
Oh that's coming soon!!! I'm getting over my total hip replacement surgery (it was 5 days ago as of this response). Once I'm safely out of the "oh god she might fall over" phase, I'll start putting more videos on embroidery up!
I do! I can do customs for people using leatherette, wood, or acrylic. There's some funny sewing tags listed under Crafting Tools on my shop (fiercekitten.com). For customs, people can contact me through the contact page there.

Thank you for all the helpful videos you make with no gatekeeping. Also the little chain stuff is called ball chain
AHA! Thank you!!!

Lightburn will control the air assist so you don't have to adjust it manually.
I’m trying to sell my hubby on this machine now 😂, I want to see you make something with the 15 needle embroidery machine too!
