Thanks to HPO I have this mod on my TRX. Love it. Finally at #1 on my dealer's list and my Red Mist 3LZ ZO6 with ZO7 order was accepted by GM. I pray for no strike nor constraints.

Nice install on the Redline! Radar detectors are so important in PA, and in my 39 years living there all my cars had detectors. Blend mount does it right!

3:14 Why is it that GM can't get the floor mat color to match the carpeting??? I have the same mats with the silhouette in my C8 and the color looks close in the shade but in direct sun its just off!!! Same with the Lloyd but I mean they didn't even try to match that grey - they only offer black 🤨

I did the mirror tap, but I had the Blendmount on my C7. Wasn’t crazy about it (in the way of you use a window shade) I have my V1G2 mounted up high left of the mirror on my C8.
I have windshield tint to block the heat so I don't need the window shade.

If you have the XPEL XR+ window tint. It does pretty much the same job. I know it’s super hot down there, but we get pretty much the same kind of heat in Florida and the tint is usually enough to help with the heat.
@@HorsePowerObsessed I know the inside is Ceramic 70% (I believe Lunmar, was dealer installed no charge), the outside has S-tek on it. I also have a 3LT so the more dash protection I can get, I’ll take. 👍🏻

Justin - You may have one on order, but I have a flush mount cigarette lighter adapter that will better hide the power supply under the glove box. Also, I'm even more suspicious if 2023 Blend Mounts will fit the new 2024 proximity cameras?
They should, the safety cameras are up in the windshield more so than on the back of the mirror area so it should be the same fitment. Which cigarette lighter adapter did you get?

Since you have the money if I was you I would give a r8 a chance..I have both and the r8 gives you a little more information...but the overall king of the road is a r8 on the front windshield and a r4 on the rear windshield..it gives you such advanced information you can't even imagine until I explain it or you see it for yourself
No warranty issues plugging into the mirror? When you take your car in for service they plug in something called SAVI I think and they are looking for any abnormalities, meaning things that shouldn’t be in there. I had a Soler throttle controller installed and I removed it before going in for maintenance. I don’t think I would want to go through the trouble of removing the blendmount too.
No warranty issues on any of my other cars with the same setup. I don’t see how this could be a concern.
I asked a top Corvette dealer if they would install the light bezels from Paragon and they cited warranty issues as the reason for not doing it.@@HorsePowerObsessed
That sounds to me like the dealer just didn't want to do it for you. There's definitely not any warranty issues with something like this.

Won't cops in states that those are illegal see that you have radar detector? Not detect with their equipment, but actually see it mounted there.
Probably, but it isn't a concern for me. I mentioned it for those of you who live in that state.
Does the charger work well for you? I have one and although the fit & finish is great, the charging is is not very good at all - I often get a a warning that the phone is getting too hot while using it. What's your experience been - honestly?
The ProClip works awesome! Just make sure you use the MagSafe option which is Apple charging
