Steiny's argument on the NBA was spot on. It's amazing how so many people are saying the same thing about the NBA right now. Silver may seriously be the problem, but the NBA needs to change, and change soon before the NBA goes the route of the MLB where ratings are down and people who aren't diehard fans, become tired of it. I don't agree with shortening the season though.
