    #montrealcanadiens #habs #nhl
    I created this video to show that the Montréal Canadiens are about to take the next step in their rebuild this upcoming season. The new first line of Juraj Slafkovský, Cole Caufield, and Nick Suzuki could become one of the best 1st lines in the entire NHL. Their prospects, Lane Hutson, David Reinbacher, and Logan Mailloux should have an impact at the NHL level this season for the Habs. I predict that the Montréal Canadiens will have a winning record this upcoming season.

      If they were 100% healthy last season we do not get Demidov and we most likely finish 10-12th… If the Habs are healthy this season and they make a trade for a forward which is very likely, This team will be different than it is now going into the season, This team will finish outside of the top 10.

      I say this team, keyword team, will grow enough together to finish 10th to 12th this season, playoffs in 25-26, and don’t be surprised if they’re good enough to win in 27-28 or 28-29, fair window. It doesn’t take a superstar or two, which creates cap issues after their entry level contract, but as you put potential on 3 lines to score, they become tough to defend. 4 lines and 3 D pairings I can see being really tough with puck control. They’re going to be 5 really good options in goal over that period of time as well👍

      Montreal needs to stay healthy and if they do I could see them having a season that Detroit just had just missing the playoffs…
      Dach, Suzuki, Caufield, Slafkovsky, Newhook, Savard, Matheson, Hutson, If these guys can have a healthy season there is a chance they have a good season… Not playoffs but they will not be a bottom 10 team…
      There is no room for error in my opinion like if a guy like Dach goes down again we don’t have the depth that’s fully developed yet to climb out of that hole…
      It’s also very possible that the Habs make a trade for a forward and this team looks better than it does now and if that happens that would be big.

    Maybe im wrong or maybe im a dreamer... But sometimes I just imagine, what will be the Montreal Canadiens in a couple of years.. I read alote about how the habs should trade some young Defencemen (Because we have too much) Why would it be 2 much.. too much young future NHL D's in MTL.. The fact that we are building something different based on strong bonds from top to bottom.. Building a management and coaching team, not only based on hockey administration credentials, but also, based on YOUNG retired NHL players: Defence; Bouillon, Robidas / Forwards; Vincent Lecavalier, Martin St Louis etc, etc... Meaning to say, the organisation is surrounded by ex Elite NHL players for the most part, taking care of the culture.. That says alote to me, because, having an overflow of talent, in this hybrid type of environment, creates a strong family frequency for young players... Like back in the days when we used to win Stanley cups after stanley cups..
    We are building the most scary team in modern history..
    Fight me 😅😊

  • @emmvee2932
    @emmvee2932 2 месяца назад +1

    I absolutely agree with everything you said except for Slaf getting 70 pts next season. I think he'll get 90+ pts. The top line was on a rampage last year and I'm pretty sure they will start off next season at that same pace and will probably even increase it. I honestly think they will all be a minimum of 40 goal 40 assist guys next year. Suzuki only needs to get 7 more goals to hit 40, Coles needs 12, and Slaf needs 20. While an increase of 20 goals sounds like a lot, he did go from 4 to 20 from 1`st yr to 2nd yr which is an increases of 16 in 1 season. I dont believe its a huge stretch to think Slaf can hit 40 goals next year.

Yes, we are going to need Suzuki to keep doing a good job, maybe improve if possible. We're going to need to see Caufield and Slafkosvky keep improving.........but we'll definitely need to see Dach play an actual complete offensively productive season......Lane Hutson and Matheson are going to have to make the PP work.....Josh Roy and Newhook could be important players as well.

    I don't think we will see Hutson as the only D on the 2nd PP unit, I think they play him on the PP with Guhle as defensive back up, or Xhekaj. Don't think he will be ready for that in his first year.

Sizuki may be one of the most underrated players in the league, that was a sneaky 77-point season. I could see him eclipsing the 80-point mark this season if he's healthy. It's nice and all showing Slaf Suzuki and Caufield's nicest plays, but they have little to no offense coming from lines 2, 3 and 4. When Demidov arrives and if Dach, Roy and Newhook can take a big step forward, at that point yes, they may have the record you suggest in this video. As it stands, they are still in 8th place in the atlantic with this roster.

    All I heard in this video is “I think” or “he should”. We think this is going to happen, we think this player or that player is going to take a huge step, and that’s fine, I actually agree with most of the things u said, but where I was taken back was the 40-29-13? That’s 93 total points, and yea they had tons of over time games last year that they lost, but even if they won have of those games, they still would not have made it, to me saying there going to 93 POINTS, I can’t see that at all, im a habs fan, die hard love them, but there not getting 93 points, reinbacher is not ready to be a top 4 nhl d, Hutson is not ready ready to be a top 2 nhl d, caufield has not shown he can be one of the best goal scorers in the league, we have seen the flashes, but until he gets there I can’t say that he’s a 40 goal scorer if he’s only scored in the 20s, slaf took a big jump, he needs to take another this season, we need to see if dach can stay healthy, he hasn’t shown the ability to stay healthy yet, if he goes down again in the first 10 games we lose our second line center, our goalies are young and we’re good last season, we need to see who’s going take the crease, there’s also still some older bad contracts that need to be moved to allow Montreal to add to there group because there currently not good enough to compete especially in the east, Gallagher, Anderson, savard, I was with u the whole time, but 93 points I can’t get behind that’s not happening

    I love Montreal, but they aren't going to do shit this year, unless they add a goal scorer, or two. I was hoping this year to see them take that next step too, they will make a move im sure, we have too many D. Trade reinbacher, and Savard, and our 2nd first round pick next year, and get someone who can put the puck in the net. i was hoping this year to not know we arent making the playoffs before preseason, but maybe next year, when Demidov comes home!! He's a prospect to get excited about, insane hands. I also know we will have Dach this year too, which we didnt have last year, well for 2 games! lol, he will help our offense, but we need more, a 40 goal guy would be awesome!! But u dont get them for free, that's why i said reinbacher, Savard, and a 1st round pick, maybe even have to throw in Harris. That will give room for the D we have. We were 17.5% on the powerplay last year, lol. i dont mean to say ur video is wrong, or terrible, i just dont agree with most of it, but that doesn't mean it's wrong. I hope u are right, and im completely off about everything. I have been a Habs fan for over 45 years tho, and in that whole time, Habs ALWAYS went either goaltending, or defense first, and we have sucked for decades because of it. U could say well we made it to the finals in 2021, that is true, but had Covid not happened, we wouldnt have even made the playoffs, AGAIN! lol. We went on a good run, but again, it was goaltending, and defense. We need to add some goal scoring, and i know we need D too, can't win without decent defense. We need to add two top six guys, a 30-440 goal guy, and a 40-50 goal guy. Then we can let everyone else fight for the remaining spots. We dont really need to add anymore defense, in fact we need to shed a couple, which is where the offense will have to come from. Anyway, i didnt mean to sound like i was being a dick and arguing every point uve made, IM just a passionate Habs fan! Want to see them win, and soon, not getting any younger here!!! Go habs Go!!!

      Their first line actually did very well against other teams first line over the course of the year. Sure they don’t score as much as “the best” but if you can slow those lines down and still outscore them overall or even break even with “the best” then other lines can take up the slack. Bergeron was so effective that his worth was even stronger when he shut top lines down.
