I've decided a 200KG deadlift is next on the agenda. I did 190KG 15 years ago then life happened. Time to get serious!

Well done on the 160! Frankly amazing that you did it only two days after doing a massive bench session. 😮 Your rate of recovery is extraordinary

I've been using your journey to 160kg as my motivation for a 100kg bench press. So well done, and thank you for making the videos. Have a Great Xmas and a Heavy New Year.

@barrythomsonlifts You'd do well in Bench only competition. What are your squat and deadlift PRs?

Hi Barry. Thanks for another great video. Why dont you do a road to what ever the weight is for the deadlift or squat or even both and go through correct technique ect for alot of us out here. But if you have your heart set on bodybuilding then go for that my man. Keep the videos like you have informative and real. This year i have increased both of these core movements and with squats i have used the box squat for the first time ever and that has helped me heaps to get stronger as well. Cheers big ears.

Ever do the prone dumbell bench row Barry? Its an excellent row variation and it really saves the lower back.

@barrythomsonlifts Its a very good one hits the back brilliantly and you can go to failure without risking the lower back. Love your channel. Floor press video was excellent. Whats your daily eating regime for your goal?
