The same setup is on a shuttle bus we have. Any idea on the adjustment procedure? Ours will frequently stick and stop on opening or closing. We have to press the switch multiple times. I've greased everything but that only helped a little thanks. Ours is a 1997 E Superduty cutaway shuttle bus.

The motor and adapter gear are supplied by Van's, 800-428-4049. Part numbers are DM03 for the motor and DV60000 for the adapter gear. The adapter gear is DESIGNED to strip internally if there is a jam or impingement, preventing injury or damage to other components. The rest of the parts were supplied by another vendor and would only be available through Forest River.

I have a door similar to yours but need the motor. Was wondering if yours had a part number I could get so I can order one. Thanks

What type of bus is this door on?

Our door just clicks when we hit the button, no motor sound at all otherwise. Any thoughts? Our owners manual is less than helpful...

I would start by disconnecting the wires going to the motor and see if they get 12volts when the button is depressed.
I would also try to put 12 volts to the motor and see if it moves.

I have t had the bus in years but would suspect 30amp is sufficient.

My door doesn't stay shut. I can hear the motor keep running. It actually ran down my battery when I turn the bus off. What do I do?

I would check for a bad switch, a bad relay, or a short circuit.
      Relay is most probable.

Also, check the limit switches. I assume there are switches that turn the motor off when the door is all the way open/closed
