Friday December 3,1976 I was hitchhiking across country in a winter storm at age 16. My favorite line to all the Rocky movies is: Go for it!!! 2019 I retired and rode 1500 miles on a bicycle from Detroit to north central Nebraska then down to Kansas where I hit early snow at 59 years of age. I made it to the southwest and remembered the Rocky movies as a guideline in life besides my baseball hero for helping people-Roberto Clemente
I planned a trip to Philadelphia only to see the Rocky statue (I arrived phl on Dec 3rd, 2023) but my schedule was set to visit Rocky on Dec 4. I didnt know that Mr. Stallone was there the day before to name Dec 03 "The Rocky day" 😅 . It's kind of frustating, It would have been amazing to see him that close. What a coincidence!!!

Rocky was a "little" movie when it camecout. No big stars at the time. Who knew it would turn into such a phenomenon. ❤
