I've this watch for 7 years now. Different colour. I changed the battery once,and the top broke off. But it still works very reliably. Even the strap, although very much worn out - is hanging on. I am the type of guy who doesn't even bother to take the watch of even when going to shower. Trust me. It's been used through and through. Also, did I tell you that it survived 2 bike accidents? I was covered in blood and all and broke my bones too. The watch still made it. Fuckin amazing!

Great video , I bought one for £22.99 , with 10 year battery its great value, any scratches and I just use polywatch on it. Not worth paying 3-4 times this watch for G shock ( for me personally)
Totaly agree .Some people hated me when I made this review but it is true . Not all of us lives the life at the edge like mission impossible or james bond to test the kimits of gshock😎
Great video, gets the message over perfectly. Just as very few 4x4 vehicle owners go off-road, very few G-Shock owners are likely to be diving to 199 metres or free solo-ing on El Capitan - so watches such as this one can still be just as desirable and good for average, everyday wear. With the module accuracy likely to be the same for both G-shock and non G-Shocks, it makes sense to open up your choices - especially if you can buy at least two watches for the price of one G-Shock.

I agree that the G-Shock got features that most users don't use. Getting a cheaper G-Shock look-a-like is more value for money. And at the same price of a G-Shock that don't look that good in my book, I can get an elegant and better looking Edifice. I recently got the HDC-700 and the Edifice ECB-950DB.
I now see g shocks as a waste of money because you can even get tough solar version of this watch excellent. I think now thousands of people who have g shocks 1 don't know why,2 just for show,3 none of the functions are ever used.

I do love my g-shocks, but some of the cheaper casios like that one are very cool in their own way.

It has a luminators on n the analog hands,simply glow in dark..
I think the same as you. Why a super expensive watch, when you have lots of beautiful watches at minor prices. And you can purchase more of them.
