Darius, if it’s not a choice, how do you explain those who come out of homosexuality and live normal lives? It is definitely a choice/preference. Our choices and preferences determine the lifestyle we live. When God brings you out of this lifestyle, you will give Him glory after this. I can promise you that. Major medical organizations have come out and said it is dangerous for people to try to change his/her sexual orientation. Thats one. 2 - The largest organization in the conversion therapy world the "ex-gay" movement has shut its doors as not one person out of the hundreds of thousands that have come through the organization have ever changed their orientation. 3 - People that claim to have changed may have been bisexual to begin with. That may a reason why they changed. 4 - So if being homosexual is a choice when did you choose to become straight? Tell me. When did you say to yourself, I'm going to choose to be attracted to the opposite sex. Or did that happen naturally and against your own volition? 5 - You can't ask a person a question that you already have the answer to. After my initial shock(I just thought she was a Tom boy)I met her with love and acceptance because at the end of the day, I’m her mother and she came from me and she is my daughter.. my love for her runs deeper for her, than who she is attracted to or whom she loves because nine times out of ten if she loves them I will try my best to love them too!!
