- Harrison Mixbus 32C v10 is now known as Mixbus PRO, and I dig it. I love the SSL 9000 J EQ, and it sounds phenomenal. I am doing a test mix on one of my beats, to put it through its paces.
Something I just discovered that I want to share. If you use the SSL Native bus compressor instead of the Harrison bus compressor. It plays well with the SSL 9000 J EQ. It's 4x oversampling and smooth character really complete the SSL sound in Mixbus PRO. I think you will like it. I certainly do. 😎🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
damn good info ! trying your idea out now!

Why would you want SSL sound in Harrison? ...defeats all the purpose at the first place 😪
@@anuragdixit473 I like the workstation but want the SSL sound for the style of music I work with.
You were the first person that I thought of when I got the email and YT notifications about MixBus10. So glad you made this video. Looking forward to more of your Mix Bus videos.🙏🏿💪🏿🔥
Thanks my friend! More on the way!
Excellent! I was hoping you'd give this a try before I buy. Thanks man
You're welcome! 😊😊😊 Thanks for watching! And I am honored that you use my videos to help you decide on whether or not to purchase a product! I try to keep it real and not sugarcoat anything. If I like a product I'll stand by it and if I don't I have no qualms ripping it. Haha. 😂
I'm enjoying getting to mixing with Mixbus Pro myself, however I find it's still not ideal to track in. There are some virtual instruments I like to use which cause Mixbus to become virtually unresponsive. Kontakt 7 and Iris seemed to grind it to an unresponsive halt, so I find I'd still need something else to track in even if I then want to export the stems to mix in Mixbus.
Yeah. I just use Mixbus for mixing. I'm happy with it that way.
Hello, can I use Mixbus together with let's say Cubase,Cubase dor mixing and Mixbus for summing?
I usually do all my mixing in Mixbus, but I imagine you would have to export your tracks, and import them into mixbus, then route your tracks to the mixbusses, for the summing. You might be able to run both programs side by side simulataneously to use Mixbus as summing mixer perhaps, but I am not sure, this might be a good question for the Harrison Mixbus forum. forum.harrisonconsoles.com/index.php
Thx for the view of mixbus....I have a question, I noticed your dsp monitor hangin low, whereas I have continual crashes and dsp values on mixbus of 60 to 100%....I started with mixbus v6 and currently using v9+....wondered if ya mite tell me what is your computer setup is that makes it so stable....I have 12th gen intel cpu, 64gb memory with a asus z690 mb, nvidia 1660 super video card....everything runs separately, ie: 1 ssd os [win 10], 1ssd recording and 1 for samples....the computers cpu hardly moves....worked with harrison but have got nowhere over the years....really want for this to happen and hope you mite have some tips....cubase and protools work perfectly....thx again for your time and appreciate the videos...
That seems to be adequate enough to run any version of Mixbus. Have you talked to Harrison support, either in their forums or on their Facebook page?
@@vigilantestylez thx and yes for the last 2 months....problem appears to be the software...cubase and others have no issues...in a big session my cpu is using a bare minimum [ 4% ] while mixbus dsp is way higher 60 to 100% and freezes and crashes....now have v10 and have worked out most of the bugs....just the hiss white noise like it is in demo mode but says its fully licensed.....on the forums that seems to be a big thing....the best thing I've learned is to put your most dsp hungry in last position instead of 1st and in that way the easier plugins that are less hungry uses what it/they need before giving the hungriness one/s...that and a bunch of tech stuff in the program and win 10.....thx
@@vigilantestylez changing plug in order on tracks and removing all plugins I never use and 50 other tips I forgot over the years, it is rock solid....I like cubase [since 2000] and protools [since 2004], but REALLY LOVE mixbus 10.....in between all this, rewired, re-calibrated sold equip and reflected on things and boom, it works great....
@@jasontate6400 Yeah I usually use it with minimal plugins. Mixbus has always had issues with 3rd party plugins, but it sounds so good, I didn't need the plugins anyway. 😊
Dope im still on mix bus 5, i wonder do they offer uograde discount
I think so. Send them an email to their support team.
They sure do.
Great video.
Thank you! There will be more! 😎🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
They are offering the upgrade for $29 (For pro version, it would be little more)
I just upgraded to 10 Pro Can’t wait to start mixing sounds really Good 👍🏾
So far I love it. I have mixed probably about 10 beats so far. And one song I did a while back. I'm putting it through its paces! 😊😊😊
I got Mixbus 10 Pro too but I'll still accept your challenge to the best sounding audio , I think it'll be cool
I think the Harrison bus compressor is a bit aggressive and harsh, but if you use the SSL Native bus compressor on the master bus, it's smoother and sounds phenomenal. I think SSL is selling it for $29 bucks today.
@@vigilantestylez yeah I already have the SSL Bus Compressor and everything else SSL sells lol
I use the SSL UF8 DAW controller works great with Mixbus
I'm tempted to get one. But where would I put my food... 🤔
that sounds so GOOD! I ... I am forced to abandon Presonus Studio One
I did. I uninstalled studio one. I never thought I would do that, but I did! 😎🔥🔥🔥
