Great description of the ropes, but shouldn't this be titled Different Types of Tree Rigging Ropes instead? I watched this thinking you were describing climbing ropes like the title suggests... good explanation of rigging ropes tho. thank you!

Manually set the microphone amplification on your camera. When you stop talking the amplification increases and gets noisy.

I am very new at this tree climbing hobby and I happen to buy 2 (150' each ) 16 straights ropes from a south Florida dealer. One is bright orange and black the other bright green and black. Do you happen to know who may had made ropes with these description?

There are too many ropes out there to be able to give you a firm answer without more information. You can email us a photo at info@treestuff.com and we may be able to help!

what type of rope should I use for the bridge on my harness?

Ideally, you should use the cordage recommended by the harness's manufacturer. The wear from your anchor connection being in the same small area is pretty unique to that application. You want to be especially sure not to use ropes with fibers like vectran or dyneema, because they're more abrasive than nylon and polyester, and they can reduce the strength of the bridge from all the fibers rubbing against each other.
