Wow - that's impressive performance. I assume it was lightly loaded anyway, but that was a very confident (and competent) pilot demonstrating a very fine aircraft. Good short landing as well for a plane that doesn't have any reverse thrust capability. Love to see him perform a short t/o and landing on an unprepared strip.
@@stefannerstrand I was under the impression that the PC24 is already certified for unprepared strips. As it was designed for them from the ground up, it was part of the standard FAA and EASA certification process. It was definitely one of the reasons that the Australian RFDS (Royal Flying Doctor Service) ordered the aircraft and has already taken delivery of its first.
Beautiful, beautiful soft flight, this Is so much de-stressing my friend, not thinking in a red color for one aircraft and Pilatus looks really nice, I like so much!!👀🌸👌
@planetjunkies: it's awesome what a short take of and landing capacites has pilatus pc 24, i have a question, it can takeoff and landing in 400 meters like on landing track in jaba's island, Juancho E. Yrausquin Airport?
I did not know the PC 24 was a vertical lift aircraft. The F 35 couldn't do that short TO. The commercial jump jet. Did you roll before take off. I may have blinked.
Perhaps I'm missing stuff, but I didn't see or hear any reverse thrust, any big anti-lift spoilers, or any fast retract flaps, yet that aeroplane arrived in a gentle and professional manner on the ground, and then the pilot got on the brakes hard, and it just stopped! It's like you can switch all the lift off instantly, but I saw no spoilers... If you're not a flying person, you absolutely wouldn't see what was remarkable about that... Compare that to something like a Citation X....
@@PlaneJunkies I can't believe that thank you so much keep these great videos coming love them really curious about how much cabin noise there is when flying I'm sure I'm not the only one And again thank you thank you thank you
PlaneJunkies Thanks for the confirmation Tommy. Pilatus’ design is quite impressive wth a unique combination of performance qualities; near STOL takeoff and landing capability, doing so from unimproved airfields, cruising at speeds equal to or exceeding their so-called competitors, with a mission utility provided by their large cargo door none can match. And maybe there is something to be said for its absence of winglets. The perfect airfoil needs none. How fortunate you are to call this your office! Thanks for sharing your experience with us on RUclips!
They really are pushing the STOL and unimproved runway capabilities. It may be a great marketing idea. As a medium sized Business Jet its overall performance speed, efficiency and range is average. It's fairly expensive at about 10 million dollars. When airplanes with similar performance you can have for half that and even a quarter of that used it might be a hard sell.
Dear Sir, Do you think this PC-24 could get into and out of a 2500' Grass runway, reliably? Thank You In Advance. Specifically Cottonwood Airport Rockford, IL FAA 1C8.
Ah so it is really strong brakes that allow for such things. Turn up the jets on take off and them release them. Wonder why this isn't done with more private planes?
you don't have to do it that way .I fi had pax we would give a more gentle takeoff . but we were empty lol unless its a short field with pax then we would hold brakes to spool the engines to max thrust.
What's that boring noise i hear at 8:03 for example, buzzing for few seconds? I can't believe that i spend 10/12 Million for a private jet that sounds so bad ..... for what?
What a plane! Luxury inside and luxury performance - as in short field take offs and landings! Great piloting!
Wickedly Cool! Holy crap I can't believe the takeoff and landing distances. Just need the winning lottery numbers!!!
me to
i need to win as well heheheh first thing i going to buy
Well done. Beautiful aircraft. You've got the best boss in the world.
im blessed
Impressive capabilities of PC24!
Love the PC-24!
its a fun bird . can. still perform like a pc12 yet able to get double the speeds lol for reals

Any inside to when the PC-24 will be approved for dirt strips?
anytime now from what I'm hearing

not finalized just yet
Cool! What an outstanding plane. Extremely STOL for a business plane.
Really enjoyed watching Tommy launch that thing !

@@PlaneJunkies yesss, so much!!!!!!!!!
What a beast :-). Great launch, thanks for sharing again!
Swiss Premium Product 👍👍🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭
15 seconds takeoff, 14 seconds landing! Probably less than 1500 ft.
holy Pilatus Batman! That was sick!
Pilatus is Pilatus!
My gawd !! Thirteen seconds from start of roll to liftoff. Is that an airplane or a rocketship ! ? Aarre Peltomaa
Howdy Tommy, Could you TOL in Courchevel with that wonderful beauty PC-24?
That lands almost as slowly as my RV-8!!
Beautiful cockpit !!
Pilot impressive, IMHO.

Lol. That’s unreal .Nicely done!
Luar biasa Pilatus, salam dari Papua Indonesia 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Love this beautiful jet!
The pilot was very skill and flew on point, even though I have to say he look like a regular joe...
why thank you haa haa lol
@@PlaneJunkies ..yes..he is actually a regular professional...
Amazing how you operate that aircraft with such relaxed confidence and skill , comes through in all your videos
Mehn you makee it look so simple!! I would be struggling in a tiny 152 hahaha
thank you
Nice job on TO and landing. Fast plane!
Beautiful aircraft!
Didn't know it was going to be that short of a takeoff!!
lol
Nice flight and landing
I took a video of you flying parallel to the bonanza in Vegas just now !
Post the vid!
Perfect 👌 landing 👍✈️
Great video ! I love this plane !
I had to use an IFR scan to watch that take-off!
Great pilot!
Enjoyed that thanks :) If you have one more screen space would be cool to include the speed and altitude display :) ------🔘🔴🔘------
That was some acceleration!

haa haa
What happened to "positive rate" before "gear up"?
what was the landing roll?
7:45 Not many exec jets take that exit.
Awesome T/O roll!
nice,, honeywell should do an update to have the YD come on auto at say 500 above
Greased that one! Outstanding!

Good job!
Would a 2k airport be feasble and not reckless? Asphalt dry.
If on speed and part 91 ops yes
....you touched down before the 4 board and had it stopped well before the 3 board...less than 1,000'!!
Looking at North Las Vegas 12R on Google Earth the ground roll was about 1,600 feet or 500m

how many feet did it take you to get off the ground???? Thanks
1200ft maybe ?

15 sec till takeoff crazy fast
Wow! That takeoff is like a '50s RATO launch! Are there thrust reversers on these Williams FJ-44s?
nope none installed low approach speed don't need them

its has a raked type winglet like the 787 do in a way
What a short landing ...with NO reverse thrust!!

What a beauty great job flying. Curious is the guy in the right seat a Pilatus company pilot? Very serious not a word on the two videos.
He is my boss lol . just told him to let's keep the flight quiet for the cameras :)

@@seagullsbtn As he wrote in the info section, the audio recorder failed to record ... Great video, though.
No reverse thrust, so need good brakes
...check out his other videos, and watch all the wing flaps suddenly flip up to quickly slow the Pilatus down to a full stop
Where did my life go so wrong that I cannot afford one of these?
no way that plane can stop is 10 seconds from touch down!?
guess it can
Dang where that kid learn how to fly like that

what does a pilot physically look like to you lol

very :)
How short was the runway?
the runway was 5000ft . when I made the turn off the taxiway I had 3000dt remaining . practice lol

Totally tedious!!! No external views at all and no commentary either. Could edit it to about 30 seconds.
Totally pointless, a whole comment without a anything good or positive, could have skipped it.
I will fail your engine the moment you take your hand off the throttles during take off roll. Unacceptable!!!!!
haa sure go for it , unfortunately you never felt how hard this plane launches off with brakes released . so relax.
