Jacen Burrows is a pretty solid artist. There's one panel where its a splash page of the location the main guy and his partner are at (showing an apartment complex and gas station) it was very beautiful and realistic, looking like so many places i have seen in real life
Scars, Revenger, and Limbo are all amazing. Just added killbox to my list. Apparently there is a second arc called killbox Chicago. Also gonna check out Hotline Miami. Thanks for another great vid my friend!
Yeah I have both arcs of Killbox I didn't show anything from Chicago as to not spoil the epic twist at the end of the LA first arc it caught me so off guard & didn't wanna let the cat out of the bag for new readers! And YESSSS that Hotline Miami comic is so epic I hope you enjoy them!
@@fulci929 yeah I'm usually the same way I got given the first few issues by my girlfriend's little brother as we use to trade comics but he showed it to me & as soon as I saw the Rabbit mask I was interested I usually just but Digi copies for my videos, but every now and then I run into an amazing book that is only available as a Digi comic, also now that I get sent advanced review copies of comics I'm starting to warm up a bit to Digi comics XD
Yeah, Scars is pretty brutal I really like it a lot, like most of Warren's Avatar work it's some of his most daring & ambitious work! Limbo is just a total joy for me to read it has all the stuff I love *0s & 90s trash movie influences, also 70s Grindhouse as well as 40s pulp noir, & it's own style of magic & rules that go with it! when Dan gets as famous as I believe he will a lot of people will slap themselves for sleeping on that book!
@@GraphicVandalism731 Oh yeah the 2 or 3 books I've read of Watters I've loved. I also like the work ellis alan moore did at avatar although I think most have mixed feelings.
@@ChaosandComics Yeah I think the only book Warren did at Avatar that I didn't absolutely love was Wolfskin, as for Moore I had a hard time really understanding Fashion Beast, but aside from that his Avatar output was epic especially his Lovecraft books! Ennis also had so many great books, I'm a pretty big avatar fan. As for Dan Watters if he keeps up writing like he is now & he just might be the new generation Moore or Morrison, the dude is amazing Coffin Bound is pretty much tied with Deadly Class as my favorite comic right now so he's one to keep your eyes on IMO!

@@GraphicVandalism731 I can't find a physical copy of hotline Miami anywhere! Lol. Good find!
@@fulci929 Yeah, as far as I know, Hotline Maimi is only available as a digi comic
@@GraphicVandalism731 I gotcha. I'm a total non digital guy when it comes to comics, but I'm gonna have to check that one out.

Scars is why I feel in love with Ellis. I might be a little dark.
LOL yeah maybe just a tad bit dark LOL XD Transmetro was my doorway to Ellis, but I have to say Scars is a hell of in thro to him & his work XD
