After reading the comments and doing a lil digging I saw this clip of Buggs saying who he looked up to, It’s a fact James Funk was doing this move first. Rare Essence and Funk hit the scene a little bit earlier than Junkyard. Just some Go Go History Facts of certain aspects of the Go-Go Culture that I think about.

I think that I heard that Funk was emulating Chuck Brown playing the Guitar and Buggs was emulating Funk. Buggs just kinda made it own signature move. But I cant remember where I saw that but I think I remember seeing it somewhere
