I love Comp. A lot of variety in there. Not just V8's, but 4's and 6's. Most mind-blowing was the 125 cubic inch 4-cylinder turbo dragster running 6.76 at 14:08. Best wheelie of the round. Who says turbo cars don't launch? Buddy Ingersoll would be proud! It's just too bad he red-lighted.
Man, it sucked having to watch two of the baddest dudes in Comp, Bruno Massel and Joey Tanksley, having to square off in round 1. Hated it that one of them was going on the trailer so fast.
+Sean Parker OTOH, it means there are more cars showing up that are just as competitive. And them getting beat means they have to step up, too. One of those good new/bad news things.
I love Comp and hate it at the same time. I love the high winding motors, the variety and complexity of the cars but I absolutely hate the CIC. I understand the mentality behind it but I just hate seeing cars in a non-breakout class dumping at 1,000 foot or whomping on the big end like Super Class or bracket cars. Whatever class you're running, if you didn't bring enough to be competitive, you just need to go shopping some more. Comp is a rich man's class and shouldn't need an equalizer to create parity, for financial reasons or other.

Next rounds please. I'm building a B/ND - B/JF car and this was kind of pleasing. Except for the part where we're in the same division!
