Great video! One other tip I'd mention for prospective students: you can also take minors and electives in other disciplines at the UvA, so you don't need to feel locked into your major choice:)

Thank you! This is so informative, and it gave me a much clearer image of how PPLE might be or me. Do you have any friends or colleagues that specialized in Psychology or Politics? If so, would you mind describing their experiences, or share where I might be able to speak with them? I've only really found people who chose Econ or Law as their major, and would like to know how the coursework, classes and opportunities
what was the entrance test like? what sort of questions did u get and how can i prepare the best for the test? i really want to study pple and i’m glad i came across your video!
Hey, back when I applied in 2020 they didn’t have an entrance test yet, just an essay task, so unfortunately I don’t have any insights about it :/ Would recommend you to try to get into touch with someone who’s currently still studying PPLE!
Hey, danke für dein cooles video! Ich befinde mich gerade in der Bewerbungsphase für PPLE in Amsterdam. Jedoch fürchte ich, dass ich die Mindestvorgaben für die benötigte Mathenote nicht erfülle. Könntest du mir sagen, ob ich deshalb definitiv keine chancen auf eine zusage habe oder ob ich trotzdem noch hoffen könnte? Wie wichtig sind diese auf der Seite stehenden Kriterien? Ansonsten übertreffe ich eigentlich alle Erwartungen. Ich würde mich über eine Antwort freuen:)
Hi Henri! Ich weiß leider nicht wie streng die das bei den Noten sehen. Wenn du nicht weit von den requirements entfernt bist und sie in anderen teilen sogar übertriffst, würde ich mich auf jedenfall bewerben. Außerdem könntest du auch jetzt schon mal eine Mail an die PPLE Administration schreiben und einfach nachfragen während du dein großes interesse bekundest, dadurch wirst du auf jedenfall schlauer und deine Chancen auf eine Annahme sollten auch nicht geschmälert werden :)
