This is a week in my life studying at the LSE in London! I'm studying the master's in Economics and Management and am taking you along for 5 days in this video. From procrastination, to productive thesis work and gym sessions - I was reminded of one important lesson this week: life is better together.

Hey man! Unfortunately I don't know anyone in that department and haven't taken any of their courses... usually departments have student ambassadors though which you could reach out to in case you haven't yet :)

Hey! Since I neither switched my subject in my masters nor applied to sociology I frankly have no idea. I‘d recommend you to look at the application requirements online or contact someone from the sociology department directly :)

Thanks! I'd say most LSE master's students live in LSE accommodation! I'm in intercollegiate halls and there are barely any LSE students. In terms of getting to know people I'd say make sure to talk to a lot of people from your program from the start and go on all the social that are organised in fall... there are not that many afterwards. But going to events in generall and joining a society is a good way I think (especially if you want to connect with people outside your program)

I think this video is really insightful and your editing is pretty cool. I appreciate this. I want to know more about the GRE because I have seen programmes that I want to get into at London Unis saying that it is not required, since this is the case should I not bother to do the GRE? The course at LSE I want to apply to is Financial Mathematics.
Thanks for the feedback! I think it depends: If you can optionally submit a GRE score (for most programs) and you think you would be able to ace the test and make it an asset, then you could go for it. However, I would ONLY do this if I thought my grades might not be high enough in relevant subjects. If they are though, then they will already reflect your quantitative/academic abilities, and there's barely any point in spending a good amount of time on an uncertain GRE outcome. Rather make sure everything else is on point ;)
