New to the channel? I do Let's Play videos -- these are like walkthrough guides of gameplay with continuous English commentary trying to explain my decisions and what strategy I use. If you're looking for hacks or cheats, you're in the wrong place!
"I'm sorry, inferior fleet power?" and I start hearing the drums of war playing in Quills head.
If he was a dog his ears would've been perking
I love it when Quill plays Stellaris. One of my favorite creators playing on of my favorite games.
You take advantage of specimens with the grand archive.
You really need to prioritise Unity. It's arguably the most important abstract resource, and clearly top 3 in absolute next to Energy and Alloys.
You should be picking leaders for your council based on their empire perks, there's not much point having them there otherwise, the governor of sirius prime for example has 3 empire traits that you could use
I want an official because Martial Law... Selects a commander, because Quill.
I know Battletech didn't invent the star Rasalhague but man, I always think of those crazy mfers when I hear it.
Pop Approval Rating is the weighted average of pop happiness weighted by political power. So a few happy rulers will outweigh a lot of unhappy slaves. But for egalitarian societies where political power is more evenly distributed you will have to keep pops at all levels happy.
Quill's totally not hungering for war
Weapons wise my thinking for meta is disruptors and missiles. Both bypass shields 100% and disruptors also bypass armor. That can be countered if the opponent uses armor or shield hardening but the AI usually doesn't. Neither of these weapons are high DPS so you'll want to plan your defenses accordingly for your opponents weapons.
Uhm, am I missing episode 5 somewhere? I haven't started this one just in case there is a missing episode 5 coming, so I don't know if it's a naming thing or not
it´s missing, about 3 years and 10 months jump in the game from episode 4-
I think the release order is off
Bummer, was excited for new episode, but guess not watching this yet.
He uploaded the episode 5 just 30 minutes ago.
@josecorchete3732 i noticed and are now watching this episode. Gotta get that Stellaris fix 😂
There's currently a bug in the game, still not fixed with the latest hotfix, where AI empires don't build any more starbases than their starting one. This bottlenecks their fleet production meaning they fall behind on fleet power quite quickly, and if you take their home system they're completely unable to build new fleets.
NO WE NEED EPISODE 5!
I have over 500 hours in Stellaris and I never saw the 'hand' until you pointed it out....WTF
And now you might never see the ship again. I can't :(
when your fleet engages hostile fleet, can you show us the actual battle? because, i am sure, most of us like some pew pew action once in a while
Hmm … some sort of temporal anomaly …
Is episode 5 in the room with us?
Physics.... research project...🧐
So, where is Ep 5?
mm stellaris crack
Where is Ep 5 ? or did you just jump one to confuse the Aliens ?
Is it a setting, a mod or a DLC I am missing that allows the player to allocate level ups ? Currently the only time I seem to get to choose levels is when I get a hight level character, rest of the time they just seem to level on their own.
You mean picking the traits when they level? Are you on PC or Console. It's might be DLC but 99.9% sure its been base game for a long time. There is an option in the leader tab at bottom that you can tick to auto pick traits but that should be off by default every new game. If picking a new leader they come with pre selected traits.
@@jms31896 Thanks for replying, that is what I was after but I don't seem to have the option, after a little digging it looks like it might be in the Galactic Paragons DLC that I don't own.
@@oldmanmike9658 That might be it but I didn't have that DLC for a bit and still was always able to pick the traits when they levelled up. Seems like a bug or they changed it but why would they, makes no sense.
Friend of mine ran into this. You need the Galactic Paragons dlc.
30 seconds in first in my youtube node!
I've not watched your videos in years and I feel like either you sound a lot different and/or you've gotten a far better mic...
