If anything I wish they would bring back number one contender matches in universe or qualifiers. Gives the mode better immersion
And a promo option. So if i have a rivalry, they dont fight 4 weeks in a row.

They do have this, but it's not labeled nor put out there. Say there's a number one contender in your universe, and there was someone ranked 2, before them. If you put them in a match, and the number 2 contender wins. They become the number 1 contender. This also isn't just for the 1 contender spot, but if you put superstars who are all after the same title, all in a match, then whoever wins will go up the contender list. It's shown in divisions, in universe mode. But if you truly want this to happen, sometimes you'll have to manually book them because the ai sometimes doesn't book the people you want.

The championship still glitches with other characters with side plates assigned! It’s still an issue they need to fix this asap!
I was going to say that. Those character that have sideplates glitches the titles soo bad.
Same for Damian priest it has his plates before Cody Rhodes it doesn't have the plates for the title is it the same for you because I'm on PlayStation 5 PS4 edition is the Cody Rhodes plates on the universal championship there for you
I’m glad that 2K fixed the World Heavyweight Championship, also REALLY COOL that we got a CM Punk championship entrance wasn’t expecting that. Plus the new weapons are AWESOME 🔥

Dude it's so crazy that we are actually being able to play as CM Punk in a WWE Game again.
If you get 5 specific my faction cards you get a new Rock ‘24 persona card with updated tattoo. Positive they just used Status’s modded model and gave it a different attire lol

@@yamatheintercom2972 it’s possible. The rock could have been like hey put the final boss in lol. And they listened. Just sucks you can’t make attires for the persona card models. The figure ones make sense. But to save on images I’d rather make a wrestling attire for updated rock than have a modded rock model with custom logos.
They didn't 'use what'sthestatus Modded model' what'sthestatus took that model from the game files and released it. It was always gonna be in the game, it was just hidden in the files, where status got it from and modded it into the game.

@@truthseeker1867no, you’re wrong asf, this version of the rock was added after the punk pack dropped as ppl would’ve already found his model just like how modders found CM Punks entrance hidden in the files same thing can be said for brock lesnar. what he did was mod/glitch a custom image on the current rock model, he did not use 2ks updated model, he updated the model himself using glitches and mods, you can do the same thing to change hair on certain attires, you can even add face textures to the model, next time don’t talk out your ass dude

you know what i noticed with this update the dudley’s have a 3 man entrance motion it’s not an actual motion though it’s the generic one but you can select it as a template
They did a great job on Punk. Im addicted to using him.
Side plates are the reason titles are bugged. I don’t know why they are adding more before fixing the problem

Can we talk about how this latest patch removed double hairstyles for caws. Its awful
It's provided extra stability, I loved the double hairs but I didn't love crashing all the time. Hopefully there's a work around to allow us to have multiple hairs again, without crashing.
@@jadenochimas9186agreed. The work around is for them to add more hairs and or the ability to change lengths on existing hairs
It was awful creativity-wise, but this glitch has caused so many crash problems on my end, so I'm sort of in the middle about that. I think 2k25 should allow double/triple hairstyles at this point on by default since they make CAWs so much more interesting when applied.
A bug I’ve noticed is if you play as Scarlett and use a charged finisher the commentary will call you Joe Coffey

@assemble Hey Matt, speaking of new entrances, they added one that wasn't mentioned in the patch notes. Josh Briggs finally gets his own solo entrance instead of just using Brooks Jensen's. Sadly, it is just an entrance and he still has Jensen's victory, but at least it is a start.
They also added the Smackdown & Raw Women's title history to the New women's titles I know it's small but it kinda bugs me looking at the Woman's World Championship and the games telling me Charlotte has won it 7x
Last year Universe mode didn't recognize Royal Rumble wins or elimination I played a whole rumble match as Matt Riddle and eliminated 8 people only to win and look at my Super star stats and everything Id done not be acknowledged😡😡😡

Not if sure if this is new for the patch but they added a feature (play mode only) where you can add a superstar to more than one tag team at once
Really? So you can have a character in a regular tag team and say a mixed tag as well?
I think that has been in all the games since 2k14.

Has anyone else had glitching in Universe mode since this update?
I have been experiencing a lot of glitches mainly when editing a match to make a title match where it will take the champion out of the match and replace the champ with another random character.
The glitch for the WHC and Women’s Championship is still there and the problem is the custom side plates… you will see that if you select a superstar without custom side plates it gets fixed
Also punk vs bray Wyatt you will get a commentary Line bringing up their time up in the nexus in At summer slam
My favorite punk look was the new nexus look.
I had to download manually as well. I believe there's a Drew McIntyre has custom commentary.

I played CM Punk vs Bret Hart and the commentators mentioned that Hart was an idol for Punk.
I wish they’d put the Killswitch Engage song for Punk, that was my favorite
All the side plates on the belts on my game is just the standard WWE logo. PS5 and updated to the latest version.
Something i’ve noticed after this recent patch is that Tiffany Stratton’s lighting was bugged, it reverted back to the original dark lighting that it had when the game first launched, but in the entrance preview, it was normal. Now I did manage to fix the lighting myself but now her trons that show up during the beginning of her entrance no longer show up and I have no idea how to fix it. Another issue that’s been plaguing my game is the barricade trons not showing up for certain superstars, i’ve managed to fix this for some but there are still many that don’t have their barricade trons, i’ve been wondering if anyone has had this issue because 2K has not even addressed it yet.
When I did Cena Vs Punk the crowd chants are different at times with the let’s go Cena followed by cm punk chants

Online is really unplayable each patch it gets worse if you double tap circle on the side while the opponent is on the ground it kicks everyone out the match
I wish 2K would have updated Punks attire pieces in create mode. Honestly they just need to go through and add the stars to the trunks and boots lol

They should allow us to select wrestlers old songs from old games like they do with attires
They don't have rights to them.
Matt - the world title is still broken. It’s due to the custom sideplates. So if you put the title on Seth, Priest or basically anyone who has got custom sideplates assigned, it will bug out.
I used no custom side plates looked fine but good to know it’s custom plates
I hope in one patch we can get updated music from AJ, Priest, Kross and Bayley
I hope they update santos escobar as well.
I loveeee all the changes but they really need to put energy into the belt clippings. It’s a shame when you customize attires and they wear the belts over the clothes instead of inside of they clothes
I love the new weapons, my only minor complaint is I feel like certain weapons should be an instant bleed (Unless you have a first blood match obviously) yeah I use Universe Mode exclusively once I beat My Rise and the fact that it is always a chore is irritating maybe by 2065 they'll have it fixed I mean I likely wont be playing but never the less..lol

Punk has arrived just in time for me to begin his never-ending feud with Doink the Clown
They should bring back dives through the table. After patch 1.05 the are broken and buggy. Now when your opponent is on a tables you can only do elbow drop or body splash as dives. This is very bad…
idk why no one is mentioning it but i HATE the fact i have random title matches in universe mode like i put alot of effort in to a rivalry only for me to skip a week and suddenly my champion got beat by some random on raw and it ruins the story i built thats something they need to fix ASAP
I wish they allowed you to custom matches in Universe. Old School matches had time limits & I think they should still have those now. They add so much drama to the matches & would to a game.
They mess up the facial region on the eyes you couldn't move them they need to fix it asap
I just wish they would implement these updates into my GM mode because if I form a team that was already theme the teams don’t come out together and if it’s random teams they can’t even come out with a generic put together entrance with one of the stars songs (or at least give the option for it)
Also in universe mode, the ambulance, casket and gauntlet matches can be for championships
Including double title matches in each
In my attitude era universe mode I did the Rock 01 vs Triple H for both the European and Intercontinental championship in a ambulance match in my Survivor series card

What I find Matt is when I use 1 or 2 finishers they kick out but as soon as I do a normal move straight after it’s 1,2,3 it’s so annoying and spoils my enjoyment

The World Heavyweight Championship is not fixed on PS5.
THE DX ENTRANCE IS STIL BROKEN FOR TRONS.
There is no DX Main Tron Graphic... They have the stage & ramp, barricade and banner but no main tron.
They never had changeable side plates for the mid card and tag titles.
William regal has a manager attire too.
!!CLARIFICATION/ THINGS IVE FOUND!!
1.) the titles are still glitched but it’s due to 2k trying to patch side plates to work on them. the whc glitches and uses the outline of the womens world championship. if you make a custom side plate with nothing there, assign it to someone with preset ones and then delete it, they’ll have none and the championships will look normal. but you trade off having custom plates
2.) if you like to simulate to ppvs in universe mode, but your champions are switching. delete all divisions. without contenders the game won’t force matches on smackdown raw and nxt for the belts, as it’s tied to that.
3.) in universe , if you want the game to count your royal rumble wins and eliminations you CANNOT edit the participants. you CAN however chose who you want to be and then win from said position, eliminating whoever, and the game will count it. wrestlemania wins and mitb wins work as intended.
4.) if you want “this fire burns” and you are on ps4/5 you just have go to spotify and go to hit the play button on it as soon as punk enters. the game will automatically cut off cult of personality and start it again whenever you pause spotify
5.) and just a bonus. if you hold r2 (or corresponding button ) during a wake up taunt they’ll be facing away from you, as well as if you hold it while going to the top rope you’ll be backwards , in position for things like moonsaults. this avoids always seeing the akward “turn around” animations on the ground and on the top rope

The Hogan Leg Drop 1 is glitched. If you do the pin combo the ref doesn't count. 😂

One more update that would make this game almost perfect is chain wrestling. I don't get why they removed it considering the you could switch it off
Hopefully, they'll update Bayley with the right body type and add a Gallus trio entrance.
To me the world heavyweight championship is fixed in regular play but in universe mode it still has the ugly weird glitch
Punk has confirmed commentary with Rey Mysterio and Bret Hart. I haven't tried matchups like Rock or HHH yet but I wouldn't be surprised if there was.
Idk if its me but i keep playing as Seth Rollins and Solo Sikoa and Bianca Belair and some other wrestlers their barracade titantrons dont show their titantron idk if its a glitch or if its just me and idk how to fix it
The world title is still glitched for you, lol. You just missed it. During Damian Priest's entrance, it's enlarged at the top. Seems to be hit and miss on which character this happens with

When i did pretty deadly with bobby hennan it dosen't show their titantron and minitrons but it still shows their music but we need codes to unlock persona cards
you can do this with wiliam rigel but i think it was in the game befor this patch with regals manager atier
One more thing that most didn’t know is that the bug for a custom entrance has been fixed in this newest patch.
What was the bug?
@@Ultrakevin125 if you did a custom entrance (like first half being bad bunny and the second half being Jey) it’ll only work with the first attire and the second attire would be the default entrance that starts. I have a video that I’ve uploaded if you want to check it out. But since this new patch now the custom entrance works.
I miss doing top rope finshers from or to unique places such as top of em chamber or top rop to announce table
I wouldn't want these patches once a week... 2K/Visual Concepts screws up to much when they do patches too fast. But once a month I'd like ALL the TV changes updated.

What happened to the WrestleMania XL arena??
Why do some of the default teams not have team announce? They just updated Unholy Union, but they still don't have a team announcement. Still no entrance motion or team announcement for the World Tag Champs Awesome Truth, or the WWE Tag Champs A Town Down Under.
i just went into the teams and saw that the bloodline trio entrance is the Hurt Business and changing it to the Bloodline makes Solo bow like heyman and Roman is messing with an invisible title belt.
They need to fix the slow count from refs. Also idk if is just happening to me but the al It keeps kicking out after you hit like 10 finishers to get a win smh if thats the case they need to fix it
I hope one day they fix the "adjective title" in gm mode. If you do WCW in gm mode and have a world title match. Corey Graves calls it the "adjective title" when the ref is holding the title up before he rings the bell. It's really annoying it's been that way since 2k23

The sideplates break the world heavyweight championship. if you look closely at the undisputed universal championship with sideplates it looks slightly lower quality than when it doesn't gave sideplates.
You can select Valhalla's manager Attire but that's always been their since launch and I think William Regal
As far as I know (this is on PC) the world title the women’s world title AND the wwe women’s title are all glitching once custom side plates are equipped. The only one that seems to work normally is the UWU title
i hope they patch in the nxt women's north American title when it gets unveiled
Not trying to be mean or rude, but learn what quality of life improvement actually means ...it's not new trons or fireworks over the WM sign in the RR victory. QoLI would be them moving the announcer selection to show options instead of match options
