Sry greg, that table top mini pond is not suitable for a betta. They will jump out of it without a lid and it is too small at 0.75 gallons (5 gallons is recommended minimum).
Absolutely loved this Kaity. I have followed Greg for quite some time now. Love watching his videos of them building the ponds for people. Didn’t realize he had businesses in other countries, but that only makes sense. I have several friends who have their own ponds they have built and I love going to their houses in the evening, setting around their ponds and just talking. Hope you get a place big enough to have your dream pond soon. Will be great watching you build it.
Great Video Kaity, I too had a great time showcasing to Greg some of the ponds we have designed and built, I believe the first of the videos from Gregs Australian tour should be out around end of June early July,
Greg is awesome! And you actually made a video with Greg being pretty calm. Thats impressive because he is usually running aroung everywhere lol. Great video!!!!!
Thanks for this video. Outdoor aquascape suits well for Australia weather. Can be enjoyed all seasons. I watched the videos, (part1 & 2), on how they built O"Neal's outdoor huge pond from start to end, an amazing project.
Awesome job Kaity. It was great to meet Greg and yourself and Adrian too. I might have to take a quick drive up there and buy that book. I didn't even see them.
I've created a couple of environmental ponds in places I've lived. One, in particular, had a small waterfall so we could listen to the sound of trickling water as we relaxed at night. Another was a 3 metres x 1 metre x 70cm at its deepest, filtered pond for my two snake neck turtles, in my giant budgie aviary that I constructed because I felyt guilty about having two budgies in a bird cage. The aviary was 6mx3mx3m. I'd go down to my local waterways and catch Gambusia to put in the pond to give them something to hunt besides the regular food I gave them.
That's amazing!! I would absolutely love to keep turtles in a pond one day, that would be a dream come true. My life goal is to be able to walk down to my pond with a deck and sit there feeding the fish and birds
@@Kaityscichlids I hear ya, Kaity. To have a backyard, or a big property, and create a habitat for fish and birds is something I'd love to do. My aviary ended up with a few finches, the budgies, and some quails to clean up the seed the budgies wasted. The quails raised a few chicks over the years. I remember one night, we were sitting in the BBQ where I'd grown a mini rainforest under a huge Poinciana tree. We could hear this tiny, "peep-peep" coming from the ground near the edge of the garden. This was 20 metres away from the aviary. I got my torch and found a Quail chick. It was so tiny that it could fit through the small 10mm galvanised bird wire that I used on the aviary. They are the cutest balls of down that you will ever see! About the size of a large pea but look bigger because of the covering of down. Sorry for rambling but I love animals and nature in general.
Great video , just not long enough . I was just getting involved in it and it's over 😢. Keep up with your with Sharing with us all and Thanks again for taking the time out of your life to share the Dream. Thank You very much.
I remember watching the Shaquille O’Neal pond build on tv a few years ago, was amazingly.Did u buy the little pond on the counter, that would be a fun project? Or even a bigger one for your outdoor area at home!
It's so incredible!! I didn't end up buying the little pond but I should have, it was so cute! I'm definitely planning to do some outdoor projects in the future, especially when I can finally have my own place
@@Kaityscichlidsoff topic but.... i have just set up my own rainbow fish tank with my Mclaey River turtle. I was putting it off as I was worried he would eat them. Hes previously lived with barbs which he didn't eat so I took the plunge last week. Hes a pretty timid turtle. So far so good! Loving my rainbows and can't wait for them to grow and colour up more. Wish we could get them in the rivers here but I have to pay $20-25 a fish in SA.
Nice video. It was cool to see more of you with someone else holding the camera. I’ve had a pond tub for a couple of years now and the plan is to finally get that setup this spring. I’ll use potted pond plants, but no fish.
Good job Kaity. So jealous of your climate for ponds, I think it will take your country by storm. In Canada, I can only enjoy mine for about 6 months, but I'm getting excited, spring is almost here!
Thank you!! Yes we have the perfect climate here but not that many ponds lol! It's like that with my lizards too, they sleep for half the year. I'm excited for you that Spring is coming :D
This is a fantastic video. I hope for you that you will get your future Pond. I appreciate you sharing, so I have given your video the 619th like to say, thankyou very much. Have an awesome week. Take care, Madam. 👍🏻🙂👍🏻❤️
Those systems are septic tanks that are way over priced and have so many flaws once you add fix to them. Have fixed so many. For that price here in the states I could get a 10,000g concrete formal pond built with self cleaning filters, and have money left over for some high end koi from Japan.
How amazing Kaity. Ok so, it’s time to purchase a house with a nice sized yard. You must have a water feature. Sell the car, the boyfriend, whatever it takes. 🤭 Love the channel. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
So great meeting you!!!
Hope to see you at Aqualand in July!
“I ❤ MY JOB!”
It was absolutely fantastic meeting you too!! And I can't wait 😄✈️
Greg please come to indonesia.. come to bali...!!!!

What do you think of Logan Pauls dad Greg? Was he living in his van outside his sons house as usual?

I've always really loved ponds! Thank you 😊🙏
@@Kaityscichlids You're welcome, maybe one day I will get a pond and fill them with Kois 😁
It's not a far reach actually. My current pond outside of filters I built for less than what my Waterbox Aquarium set up cost.
great video Katy, your content never gets boring or complacent :)
Thank you so much Justin 😊
I used to watch and DVR all his builds. Great channel sharing a great pond builder 🐟🐠👏‼️
