thank you , i used this tutorial to frame a "house Blessing " calligraphy that was a hand made housewarming gift and now it has a Hand Made frame , By ME!
use a piece the same size as your frame to cover the back (cut the bottom edge a little shorter than your frame), make a oblong pentagon for your stand. angle it as seen on other standing picture frames and use staples or glue to glue it on to about the middle of the back piece.
glue the sides of the back piece to the frame except the bottom, so you can slide your picture in and out.
light weight and not.likely to stand without some extra support (ie. a few more layers of cardboard)

Thank you for this method I’ve never mastered cutting a straight line, however, I can draw one !! Lol go figure. Even with a ruler and paper cutter. It makes a straight line but forget making it square. Will give this a whirl looks like I can handle your technique. Much appreciation!

Hi. You may need to glue stack the cardboard to become thicker. Then you can push canvas or photo. May need a glass pics.
