Great postcast Seth! Now we see why trading Gus would have been an absolutely god awful decision. Will he come down a few notches? Most likely, but still the better option than Fluery (love Fluery, but he's clearly on the downside) and gives Wallstedt more time to develop.
Winning cures all. Fun game. A bit boring in the 2nd period IMO. The Gus "snipe" will go down as a 2024 highlight. @ 2-2 they should be able to get over .500 against bottom-feeder CBJ on Saturday but the first legit test is Florida on Tuesday.
Gus/wally should get a far Majority of games this year. Rossi should be given ample time up top before moving him down. Khuz NEEDS to play with Lauko and Freddy NOT trenin and Foligno. If his speed can't be complimented then it's just a waste.
If we traded Gus who in the FekK is gonna back up/Tandem with Wally? Trade away a perfectly good (at times) great NHL Goalie? GTFOH 🥱 Even dumber than trading Rossi....which is Actual insanity💡

Yeah I have never been in favor of either of those ideas. Glad sanity won out at least at this point
