Kirtsy have you ever tried using cats-eye for the top spots and using the magnet in different ways like once only after all spots are added, or center spots highlight one way the side spots a different way? I'd like to see that. I've always loved the snake skin patterns you do. I find your videos so relaxing (because of your voice?) and inspiring! I'm letting my natural nails grow out on hands and feet. I do a lot of yard and garden work and I need short clear nails so I can see to scrub them clean. Even with gloves I wash all the time, I get dirty nails that need scrubbing. So when the garden demands lessen I will start up my nail art work again. I'm going to practice the unscented acrylic monomer use a lot as it looks tricky. It was very loose and I had a hard time creating a decent bead when I first tried it. I've seen a few videos that have various suggestions. One set comes with an LED lamp which may help cure that outer layer that seems to stay gummy. Maybe it will quicken the hardening time? Another person put acetone in the monomer which seemed to help speed it up as well. Anyway maybe I'll start working on fake nails and buy a dummy hand to practice forms with. Speaking of reptiles, I was just rewatching the recent tortoiseshell nails videos and remembered that I desperately want Kirsty to look up some reference images of green sea turtles and do a design inspired by their shells, because they are SO gorgeous and could be really cool as nails

You know how you use netting on acrylic nails to create the “sweet corn” affect....could you dip the netting into gel polish and print it onto a nail?
Dipping sounds a bit big but i'm sure that if you get some netting on a palette and brush some gel over you could use it to "stamp" the pattern.
