Like travel, food, lodging, events, et cetera. They don’t give some of that money directly because they’re out there actually doing work. Like building shelters, making meals, advocating for victims…whatever else. It’s so important to do research when choosing a non profit organization.

Breaks my heart to say they are almost all scams where about 1%-5% goes towards the cause and the rest towards whichever contracting company is collecting.
