I used to have a fully foiled* Sliver EDH deck. I sold it to help pay for my wedding, but seeing these Legions openings makes me so nostalgic for my pet deck. * As foiled as possible... some of the cards just didn't have foils, like the true duals.
I've never opened Legions as I only started playing Magic around OG Theros block (or M11 ish time frame), but I love me some slivers, so it's awesome to see these packs getting opened and seeing the old school Slivers coming up. I really need to get around to building a Sliver EDH deck (and modern, pauper, etc. lol), just not motivated enough since my LGS closed years ago, and there isn't one near me at all now (closest is 4 hours - and only spot to play normally gets together when I'm working), so it would def be for more casual times. Sorry for the rant, but in short I love the content, and thank you for a trip back to a part of magic's history. Great video, cheers guys. #Roadto25k
While I do think Legion is a terrible set. I remember back in the day Caller of the Claw was used in the sideboard against board wipes. There wasnt much exiling in those days.
I started playing Magic with the Onslaught Block. Seeing the art makes me pretty sad seeing what modern Magic became. Call me oldschool but times changed and not for good in my opinion.

Gents, awesome opening as always😊. Congrats to patrons. Wish I could buy some of these older boxes for myself🎉🎉🎉.
The Onslaught block is amazing and has the best tribal theme. Lorwyn is a close second.
Lawd, here those boys go crackin' packs again.
Insane opnening guys ! Love this los boxes thesse are part of my childhood!
Always one of my favorites, I was 14 and just starting in the game. Love that set forever.
Totally worth it to watch.
Thank you to patrons who got in so we could see so
Many beautiful legions works of art!
This was the current block when I started playing. Pure nostalgia!
This is stuff from my original era! I first got into Magic in 02-03
We are legion!!! I can’t believe Morgan didn’t sound off on the warbeak trumpeter.
Love these old school openings.
I never actually understood how a 13/13 doesn’t even have trample. Yet that 1/1 elf has trample. I mean the 13/13 can be blocked by a 0/1…
Wish they would bring this back where they do sets with nothing but creatures! ❤❤❤
The ninja turtle villain you were looking for was Tokka
I want a foil cloudscraper so bad but it's almost impossible to find lol.
Ah yes the Royal Canadian Legion
Akroma was soo strong back then
Fellas, Beebop an Rocksteady were a warthog and a rhinoceros. The villain you’re thinking of is either Toka or Razar.
I think there’s a chance it was kinda like the warthog - just the face! I’ll need to review the footage.
lets goo
I liked the camera on your prophecy opening more. this one seems too close idk xd im high
Yeah I think the camera setting was slightly zoomed in today, should be fixed for tomorrow
