I have no idea why i like Foster the people, they seem too much like mindless pop to me but whenever i hear songs like this, dont stop,pumped up kicks, call it what you want, and Houdini i cant help but find my self enjoying it tremendously. I mainly listen to rock and hip hop making people very confused when i tell them that i like almost all of this groups singles.

I just heard this on the radio this morning! One good song after the other, I knew it was going to be a great day! Lovin' all these new feel good songs.
My favorite part about this song is its success in capturing the raw and harsh reality of having a close friend with a severe drug addiction. In Mark's voice and the strategic chorus to verse beat and vocals, the whole intense ride with its ups and downs (notice how "It comes in waves, but it's hardest from the start" transitions into "feelings sleepin in the field again" and so on. If you pay close attention as well, the wild trumpetous sounds seem to sound sadder and angrier as the song comes closer to the end. This is genius.
I love Torches, all the songs were awesome, Supermodel has a few disappointing songs, but the quality of the rest make up for that, so in my opinion this album is a great one, and will be one that will be remembered years down the road.

Same with Torches. I would do anything for you and warrant were just as mediocre as fire escape and goats in trees. Maybe FTP will nail it 10/10 with his next album. But a 9.5/10 on his first and a solid 9/10 in my book on his second i cant think of a better artist anyway
