EDM is actually pretty big in Norway, we have lots of artists/producers who are more known outside of Norway than in Norway. Also been a big underground movement so to speak with electronic music. Artists I can name from the top of my head is Alan Walker, Kygo, Matoma, Biosphere, Apoptygma Berzerk, Askjell, Lemaitre, KREAM, Seeb, Cashmere Cat, CLMD, Lindstrøm, Prins Thomas,Flunk,Gundelach and many more
@@norse-nilsbjasa Norway has the highest percentage of foster children. 30% of the kids in the country are taken to foster homes on flimsy reasons and sold or fostered. Thanks to Norwegian child welfare org. What a third world nightmare
It's a marvellous song! You could also listen to the magic instrumental track "The Ladder" by Röyksopp (from the same set of albums). "Oh, Lover" and "The Ladder" are my two favorite songs from those albums. Cheers! Dennis
They have some awesome collabs with other female vocalists as well, the 2 songs you heard so far is both from their last album. They are also really good to watch live.
thanks, here's your comment and the like and gl with the algo. The word you're looking for is "tight". And IMHO almost anything with this sort of synth bass is "tight". That's a compliment to all of them, not a derogatory generalisation. Suzy and the mushrooms are coming to perfom together here for the first time ever in this town in exactly one month and I can't wait. Also funny to hear you talking about the natural bright feeling from norwegian music. I was literally taken away from high school to be interrogated by the police for church burnings because I was part of the black metal scene at the time. And black metal is obviously dark but also perhaps our most important moderna cultura artistic legacy. Norwegian art is all of those things and our greatest artists like Munch and Vigeland are all part of the norwegian cultural artistic spirit. Which is to say romantic, dramatic and introspective to all that entails.
Fil, you can't go wrong with Röyksopp add Susanne Sundfør and the track just rises to another level. They always strike a good balance on layering their tracks, never over complex yet intriguing enough to make you want to explore more. #QcumberSquad #Röyksopp - Fil, I'm off back to the study.
Great to see you back to Røyksopp and Susanne. You mentioned Angelina and EDM... have you heared her do EDM? This is her in TRXD's 'Above the Water' - ruclips.net/video/rpdHJJQAd9Y/видео.html. Also, Alan Walker invited her to sing in a konsert when she was 10 - doing 'Faded' and 'Sing Me To Sleep' - ruclips.net/video/s5YLpTh4l9o/видео.html
