I start my seeds. However, after the neighbors roo and hen tore up my garden and raised beds, they bought tomato plants, pepper plants and cuke plants and brought them over.
My rule of thumb was to plant double what I needed because of the following year was lousy, we wouldn't be running short. I've never heard of a Roma Grande. Sounds interesting.
Nice looking celery. Just harvested my winter celery in a aero garden 36” at 90 days and I had two freezer bags stuffed with chopped celery. Stalk n leaves probably 7-8lbs, and more celery then I ll use in two yrs. It’s kind of bitter so I ll save it for soup n roasting 😊 stared patty pan yellow squash n zucchini. Only the two patty pan s germinated my old 2003 squash seeds didn’t start so may need newer seeds ☺️ in the soil on heat mats I started basil dill rosemary and Amaryllis plants to hopefully prepare for Xmas flowering. My Xmas cactus finally bloomed for early Easter 😮 next year I ll have to light starved them to bloom on time 🤞🙏☺️ have my poppy seeds in freezer for cold stratification, going to thaw them later tonight 🤞and hopefully a week and they will start growing for a spring bloom 😊 next step is to clear out the outdoor greenhouse and bug bomb & bleach throughly. Gotta build a 25gal pot moving device so I can haul my dragon fruit trellises & pots outside for spring/summer. I was thinking of a hand truck with extended forks and then fabricate a 3rd arm that will be parallel to the forks and have a ratchet strap and drill a hole around the brim of the pot, so I can securely move them around as they need more sun shade and be able to move them under cover when we get to much rain. Also plan so start a few fruit trees in 25g pots 🙏 need more free time to get it all done 😊☺️
I hear ya about the free time. I totally don't have enough time in the day to get everything done! It sounds like you have just as much going on as I do! I hope you have a great spring planting season.
Do you start your garden plants from seed or do you buy them at the store?

Wow, just wow. Looks like more garden expansion
Definitely have some cool plans this year!

I buy tomatoes in store but prefer to start from seed with quality organic seeds no GMOs Ever 😉
