Dusan, First let me apologize for not viewing and commenting sooner, I always enjoy your vids. Reveal gives decent detail on this kit at least. Excellent assembly and paint work. Fantastic work on the decals, they all laid down very well. The canards really set off the Gripen. Another great build. - Bob
Im amazed the revell primer worked for you. Although I thinned it down to 20 : 80 or so, it wasnt sprayable at all... maybe I got a bad charge or something... I even tried it with a .5 nozzle. Additionally the primer even if it works, sprays hard chunks which I have to sand down afterwards...
Very strange... I never had a problem with this primer. I can say that I have use it directly without thinning!! Very strange... airbrush colors from Revell a ready to use. Maby You have bought some older bottle or it's a bad bottle with faults. Only problem for me is that this primer is to bright. I would like to see in the fruture black primer from Revell... all the best! Dusan.
I emailed Revell about you some moths ago, and told them that if they REALLY wanted to move new aircraft kits they needed to find a very good builder on you tube. I mentioned your channel. Is it possible they listened, or perhaps a coincidence you are building what appear to be their new kits/molds with their products? Either way, I am happy to see them producing some updated model kits with beautifully detailed parts and incredible decals! loved the decals for this kit. I'm going to buy it online right now! You Dusan, are a master!
+Wakeman Edwards Thank You for kind words and thanks for Your move :-) It is coincidence, but I have written a few articles for Revell kits in a few magazines in the past ... All the best! Dusan.
I bought the last two models you built, the JAS 39C with the fantastic decals for the tail and canard, as well as the Folke Wolf. Both beautiful kits as I saw from your build. I knew right away I wanted to build them. I am glad to see Revell updating molds with fine detail like that OOB engine on the Folke Wolf kit. Really beautiful. Thanks as always for sharing your builds, and if Revell or anyone else has a great kit you find out about, I hope you will build them as i check your channel every week at least a couple of times for new builds. You are without doubt one of my favorite channels on you tube. By the way, what kind of air brush do you use, and at what psi do you run it? Thanks, all the best my friend, Wakeman
Hello! I collect this model in a double-seat version, and I have a question. Glass cab has irregularities and waves, because of which the interior is distorted. Your video glass is very smooth and transparent. Did you level it and then polish it?
+ScaleModelAircraft what you think about a new challlenge? For example....an aircraft painted only with handbrush method? I don't have an airbrush, so i started to model with brushes and i hope to see how is the best result possible only with brushes. Thanks for your time and i hope to read your reply ;)
+Lockon Stratos Lockon, I started with brushes years ago, then moved on adding rattle cans, and have only started using airbrushes in the last few years. I just purchased a compressor, complete with a nice dual action airbrush and all the things I needed. I only paid like $60 US for it on Amazon. It's a great little compressor and is so quiet! I can tell you, from my experience, getting an airbrush set up is the best thing I did to improve the finish on my models. I also am using far less paint as well!
nice and clean build man. I dislike how revell parted the upper half of the fuselage into two pieces, though. you can already tell up front that it will take filling, sanding and rescribing. glad to see there's hardly any evidence of this left in your final reveal.
Awesome build Dusan! Love the paint scheme. A question: I use the same Revell Contacta as you, but in my builds it melts the plastic and sometimes it destroys the detail around the joints. What do you do to avoid it in your builds? Sorry about my English.
Marcio Maia Use small amounts of the revel contacta. This is because it doesn't actually stick the parts together, it melts the area between the parts which dries and becomes one solid piece. Basically, it welds the parts together.
Dusan, I started this kit last night and watched this video again. Question, I noticed you said to just seal the decals with clear coat, is it OK for me to use my Micro Decal Set, and Micro Sol decal softener on these decals? Thanks my friend, Much happiness to you and your family.
How do you approach putting these together? My first model I did was very by-the-book but something I notice with the pros on YT is they go about it in different ways. Looking back, I feel that the instructions could be rearranged (some parts were a nightmare to put together and would've been a lot easier if I did them first/later, not to mention they were already painted yet gluing already painted parts together would be a hassle, too). Also, are there any other essentials? I have some sandpaper, NT cutter, sharp hobby knives, tweezers and Tamiya liquid cement. Do you primer the little parts?
Sometimes You can bypass the instruction to speed up the process... Many of small parts are primed. Essentials, well You have the basic essentials... You only need a paint range now... Thanks for watching! All the best! Dusan.
That revell instruction seemed to hwave built the plane. gave paint instructions. then add surface detal of bombs etc go back to the start and youll see
I can't but feel there were a few steps missing in the video, specially between the decals and the finished job. No panel lining? No detail painting? Great work tho.
+ScaleModelAircraft It is sad it doesn't show up in the video. It's probably most messy and difficult part to get right and I was hopping to learn more looking at it.
+William Rusiti Thanks for the comments! In this video I am using the synthetic paint brush. The bottom line is that you can use all kinds of brushes with model color paint, (I prefer a synthetic brush's, synthetic are easier to clean, and don't mind sitting in water). All the best! Dusan.
+ScaleModelAircraft . Thank you. I have a Revell model of the star trek voyager. I'm planning on building it this winter. Having never built a Revell kit before, I was curious about the decals. The molding looks great. almost no flash.
+Aries Styrene (Bistro) The black line? That belongs there. You can see it in a real one - cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-photos/photos/1/0/6/1533601.jpg HTH
+Kevin Kilkenny I think it's a brilliant build. maybe whoever commented on the canopy line could do one himself, factually incorrect and show us how it's done
Beautiful!.. thanks from down under! 👍🇳🇿
revell este cel mai bun magazin de jucării si avionul gruipen este preferatul meu.✈🚁🚀😃😊☺😁😆
That is a badass plane with a badass scheme you did phenomenal job on it congrats

Thank You Tomáš! All the best! Dusan.
Looks like a very nice fit despite the difficulties of the two parts of the fuselage. Nice build! Make it look so easy!
+Chris Starr The fit is excellent, just remove small amount of flash. All the best! Dusan.
Stupendo!!! Bellissimo
A really nice looking model!

Feliz año 2020 desde Chile y gran trabajo felicidades 🤘👍
Nice little kit and good little video about the whole process... Well done !
A trick : you can watch series at Flixzone. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies these days.
@Enrique Ruben Yea, I have been watching on Flixzone} for since december myself =)

Could you make A B17 model bomber a airfix and revell kit please please also make a lancaster model as well
do you primer all the parts you paint or just the main body?
Great build!
nice and clean build man. I dislike how revell parted the upper half of the fuselage into two pieces, though. you can already tell up front that it will take filling, sanding and rescribing. glad to see there's hardly any evidence of this left in your final reveal.
+Sir Delta It could be that they are planning to do a new tool 2-seat version as well.. in which case that is a good thing.. :)
Love it ! More videos like this, please...
What brand and name is the airbrush you are using?
Nice.
Is the Revell kit a repackaging of the Italeri kit? The runner of the revell kit really looks like that of the Italleri.
No, this is a new tool by Revell. All the best! Dusan.

+William Rusiti Thanks for the comments! In this video I am using the synthetic paint brush.

Sounds like fun to watch.
nice review, but I saw a seam in the canopy so that is disappointing
+Aries Styrene (Bistro) The black line? That belongs there. You can see it in a real one - cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-photos/photos/1/0/6/1533601.jpg HTH
+Kevin Kilkenny I think it's a brilliant build. maybe whoever commented on the canopy line could do one himself, factually incorrect and show us how it's done
+Kevin Kilkenny no the actual seam in the canopy while still on the sprue, not the line under the canopy running from the ejection seat
+Aries Styrene (Bistro) The seam is accurate.. :)
Name of song?
