So the reason penguins move that way is because of their heavy concentration of mass on their upper torso?
is that why they have to bend the trunk while moving?
Penguins waddle when they have to run fast. The reason is the length of their legs is small compared to the size of their body and feet is big enough. All this is meant to maintain their balance on snow slippery surface.
