if Aiwei's soul stays in the spiritworld, his physical body will eventually die that's what happened with iroh, he sensed he was going to die, and went into the spiritworld instead, leaving his body behind forever
You've got the wrong episode title. Like you said in the video this one is called "The stakeout". #KickAiweiToTheHighway 😂 Btw the Misty Palm Oasis was first featured in ATLA. Aang and the gang met the anthropologist there who led them to the spirit library.
I know your twin brother Kyle Katarn has been busy at Lucasfilm as of late, but don't forget your grizzled obligations here on this humble channel. ;) Nah, enjoy your moment. You were always the embodiment of high IQ/EQ talent, amicably quick-witted in the best possible ways, and compassionate to the core... super endearing traits that make you sought after team player at any top corporation if you chose such a career path. Congrats and may you always reach for the stars.
Based on what Zaheer said about their plan to take young Korra and bend her into an avatar pawn for the red lotus, it stands to reason that Zaheer was supposed to be her Airbending teacher. That is why he was so capable immediately when harmonic convergence gave him airbending.
In case it hasn't been obvious while Last Airbender had a more spiritual theme Legend of Korra is about different political philosophies. Book one is Marxism, book two is Theocracy, and book three is Anarchy.
Next episode I CANT WAIT TO SEE YOUR REACTION!!! I think you’ve even mentioned something like this that happens, back in ATLA. I’m sure you’ve seen it by now, but man, can’t wait!!!
In season 2 when it happened to Jinora, Kya and Katara had to continuously use water healing to keep her body stable till they got her spirit back. My guess is that his in a coma and they have to keep him stable till they get his spirit back but the show never says if they did or not. im leaning towards not
The only person that knows his full situation and could've helped has just been taken away (Korra's a healer). The rest of the group only know that he astral projected and they also got kidnapped. As far as we know no one in the town has the skills to help him so yeah, his body won't survive for long.
If your spirit never returns to the body, the body dies. Remember this was the fear for Jinora last season. (And Aiwei doesn't have Katara sustaining him with healing powers)
Its funny that zaheer sounds very enlightened but his entire ideology was the most misguided and dumb of all the villians. I roll my eyes so hard at him cuz anarchy leads to nothing but opressive governments at best. Atleast the previous villians weren't so oblivious to the harm their ideologies was causing. Even ozai didnt lack this much self awareness.

The world building in this series is top notch!

Love the Bolin / Nuktuk appreciation.
But, season 3 is all about the Airbenders. I can't wait for you to see the inevitable Airbender showdown!

Finally i was wondering where korra is

Only air benders can astral project. Aiwei is just in the spirit world.
Admiral Zhao.
Aiwei's body will eventually die there from malnutrition and dehydration
i still say Lins most horrible Sin is popping Nagas ball ;-;
Great reaction as always. Glad you enjoy the show.
