Being a plumber, I do understand the dealer not wanting to tell you how to do a job, I'm forever being asked how to do things, I've been to college and done my time and people expect free lessons. I don't mind helping friends etc but it's hard to tell a genuine person and someone just taking the piss, not that you were 🤣😂

Euro car parts has taken over GSF, so now the price of parts have gone way up. Its because a bit of a conglomerate, you end up paying what they want. I've started using Ebay and Parts in motion more now. Or Halfords if you can get a trade card.
Hi Chris like the video's. I'm a struggler myself in Ireland as for the horse van it won't start if the clutch pedal isn't down. If it still doesn't start it's the starter and it will take half hour to change.

Morning chris my ducato motorhome has 5 fuse boxes all at different locations and if you fold the mirrors in it blows the fuses fixed it simply by not folding the mirrors 😂😂

Although I don’t think Atego has it Be careful changing the slave Cylinder, as the newer Mercs have an O ring where it fits against the gearbox casing that if missed causes it to loose air so you need to pull the box out again.
Building myself up to change the gearbox on my lads Land Rover 90 so he can drive it down to Greece.. the older I get the more I just really can’t be f##ked to do it! Watching you really makes me not want to go out and start it 😂

Question, as you now have 2 boost boxes, can you put 1 on each truck battery, they must be 12v each to make 24v. This is a question as I have no idea, electrickery is black magic. Love your vids
17mm/19mm is DIN (Deutsche Institut Normung), 16mm/18mm is JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) (I think). Threads same, just different heads. Odd as Merc is German, so I thought it’d be DIN. I’ve gone back to air tools, more reliable in my opinion, no batteries to break, can get them wet, more power, more tools to chose from, can repair/rebuild them, just need a decent hose and QR couplings. Struggle on Chris! Edit 16/18 mm is ISO, which supersedes DIN.

My local autobits store was taken over and it's now gone to sh1t most of the good workers left as well the new workers haven't a clue keep the family stores
Pretty sure those mercs lose one of the gear ranges when the clutch is changed, I think it's the low one. Need to get it programmed back in. The struggle is pre programmed into this one😒
