I completely agree with you, I have been hooked on palworld since I bought it for my ps5. at first I wasn’t very sure the game was as fun and addictive as the critics say but since it was only 30 bucks I said you know what?let me try this game out for myself and it has become like crack cocaine for me ever since…
I 110% agree with you. More people need to play palworld. You could say I'm addicted to it. I have a 40-hour a week job, and a wife. at one point was up to 105 hours in 2 weeks according to steam 😵💫 can't put it down.
@@DAGLOCK191when it first launched I had a server with half a dozen people playing and it was by far the most addicted I've been to a game. The end game was pretty tame then tho so we burn out after a couple of weeks and never went back. Definitely plan to do it again at the real launch
The most interesting part to me about Pal World is no youtuber could really make it their game, like minecraft or such (as minecraft was more popular when it was in early access then it is today, a good example) because Pal World is cheap enough to be able for most people to afford it not on sale, and so fun that the question you ask yourself is: "Why would I watch someone play this game, when I can play it myself?" Its one of those few games that is so fun to play, that its a lot more fun to play then to watch it. We can sit back and watch minecraft vids because well, as "fun" as it was in early access you ran out of stuff to do quite fast and a lot of the mods were tedious, as to why for a time the yogscast were the most watched channel on RUclips by doing early minecraft stuff with a bunch of people. To make that game really fun back then it required other people RP'ing with you or hundreds of mods. Palworld doesn't need all of that, you can play it solo with no mods and have fun just doing whatever you want. Nothing feels like a grind, nothing feels tedious. It released with boss battles. Its just fun to sit back and play.
I bought it for my son, he said he found it too complicated. So I figured I’d give it a go and now I’m hooked. There’s so much scope this game has to offer in future I wouldn’t even mind paying for future dlc or even cosmetics.
I really can't wait for the games full release, besides all the stuff the devs will add, mods will be able to take this game a good decade into the future.
Pretty much why I like this game. I'm on the lines of a Warframe sorta approach. If the game's finished, I don't mind if there's no "Palworld 2". I opt for the game to stay how it is with updates and add-ons over time. Things like adding "story quests" over time. Something that helps with the world building and emphasize the lore of the world. Like when you read Victor's diaries, you realize that he's the one that invented the Pal Condensor. Things like that. I'm looking more for "lets say, character A is moving thing B to area C" and it leads into a larger part of the quest's story until you get to a definite end. Just spit ballin'. But, I would like the game using it's large environment and introduce newer monsters, and probably, more human being types.
PALWORLD!!! Over 600 hours on PC. Decided to start a new world, wanted to see how soon I could catch a Jetragon. Died many times trying to get legendary spears from the new island. Using fire pits I was able to lower it's health capturing it at level 6 😁
It's like someone saw that mod in ARK that turned the Dinosaurs into Pokemon and the Palworld devs were like "Ferb, I know what we're going to do today".

Been playing since the second month of release, and it's one of my favourite videogames of all time. There's a point one often gets to where there's nothing new to do, but I've found self-imposed challenges to be the way to play for me.
I skipped the big PC craze but now that it’s on PS5 I am giving it a try. I’d describe it as the world of Fortnite meets Pokémon with a big splash of Breath of The Wild’s visuals and mechanics. It’s a lot of fun and extremely smooth locked in at 60 FPS, but VERY grindy. Default difficulty is a big chore so I recommend custom settings. Boosted pal appearance to 1.5 and PS5 handles it beautifully. Gameplay loop is addicting especially when you’re done chores and making progress in Palworld’s MASSIVE world 9/10 It’s a great game that finally gives Pokémon’s stale formula some fresh competition
One thing I would wish they add is. The feature to upgrade your base from wood to stone without tearing it down. And a auto button when you build instead of holding it.
It’s an amazing game, but it definitely has a learning curve. The first day I played it, I got a little frustrated but watching a beginners tutorial made it quite easy to understand. Glad it came out on the PS5, it’s so fun and I’m hooked!
If you like janky fun stuff then this is the game. I've already spend hundreds of hours on it and don't regret any second of it (just remember to change the world settings for your liking, it greatly changes your experience).
Palworld is probably one of the best game in existance atm and the 2nd game i bought on release day, the 1st one being RE4 remake and i do not regret it, tons of freedom, able to do anything, play however you want, the game doesn't tell you what you can and can't do just, have fun
The initial reason for me getting this game was that Pokemon was too stubborn to put any games on PC. I hate being restricted to needing a console that would be obsolete in a couple of years. The advantage of PC is that you could play games that are decades old on a newer PC without much issue. Meanwhile, I also liked the concept of Palworld and gave it a try. When I got into it, I found that the basic monster catching dynamic that's inherent in these types of games was the only real thing that it had in common with Pokemon. It had an elemental strength/weakness system, too, but that can be found in thousands of games. Everything else was vastly different from Pokemon. Being someone who has played and been a fan of Pokemon for years, I found myself enjoying this game more due to it being grittier, not being turn-based, and having a lot of other assets that is not found in a Pokemon game. My only real pet-peeve about this game is the horrible pathing of the base system, which requires you to find go-arounds to alleviate it. I'll be honest. I think that the real reason why Pokemon and Nintendo is trying to sue is because they are 'butt hurt' over the fact that Palworld is doing so well in sales and opinion, especially in comparison to how the most recent Poke games fared. Pokemon and Nintendo tend to respond badly to competition. To add salt to the wound, they have probably lost a chunk of their customer base to Palworld, too. I obviously believe that I'm not the only Poke fan who has been converted to Palworld. I'm not too worried about lawsuits at the moment since Sony had effectively stepped over Nintendo and gave Palworld a pass. Nintendo will be more hesitant to bully Pocket Pair if their main competitor is playing the role of 'big brother'. I would love to see more companies make similar games in the future to give Pokemon some competition, too.
I do wish it was a bit more Pokémon like with trainers to battle and actually calling out the Pals moves to do but it’s different so I also like this it’s more of the world is very dangerous and these are actual monsters😂They can and will kill you so you need to fight with your pals to survive it’s a good choice!! But I wouldn’t mind a actual arena later on with 1v1 Pal battles with stats mattering like with speed stats so when you tell it to dodge a attack it has a higher chance to! I always wanted a game to be like actual Pokémon battles where Ash give commands but the Pokémon does it’s own thing they’ll run around dodge and do what he says I feel like the Ai is good enough to where they can pull it off but overall the most fun me and my friends have had in a long time!!😂🔥
@@blazingflamehaze trainer battles are basically just non-random encounters, I seriously doubt such a thing is defendable since RPGs have used them since their inception
The literal worst case scenario is that Pocket Pair will have to move to a different country. Nintendo's patent lawsuit is an obvious overreach that would only really fly in Japan. They hold a patent for using balls that is so loose that it could be applied for grenades as well. If Nintendo tried this in an American court they'd be laughed out 😂 They have Japanese support but that's likely only because the game hasn't released in Japan yet, so they generally don't know what they're talking about
