I always thought this Memorial was so beautiful and fitting, but to now listen to the words of the man behind it all, it only makes the concept even more remarkable. He is a true architect, whose vision and attention to detail could not have been utilized for a greater cause. I was never aware of the strategic placement of each victim's name before, but all I can say is...wow. His awe-inspiring vision is an instrumental contributor to us never forgetting.

Impressive Memorial and Tribute -- I visited New York in 2018. I toured the grounds and spent my birthday there at 9/11. Peace on earth and love to all.

Rest in peace sent from South Korea. Sincerely I will pray for all of people murdered by terrorists, who made this terror happen 20 years ago. BTW, design of this architecture looks great. In north-eastern asia culture, continually flowing water symbolizes the state of purifying holy soul. 힘 내 세 요.

I remember seeing the new tower in 2015, and it was marvelous. Then I saw where the original towers were and I felt something heavy inside me, knowing people died in the spot where I was standing. May they Rest In Peace

absolutely beautiful memorial. the symbolism of the loss through the deep pools, the infinity of water, and the name connections on the plaques all brought a tear to my eye. i've never gotten the chance to visit new york city (i was supposed to go during spring break of 2020 but you'll never guess what happened....) but when i eventually get to go this is going to be one of my top priorities to visit. may everyone who was lost in this tragedy rest peacefully

They turned the site into a really peaceful place. Water is also living, it represents the way life continues despite the wounds, which when carved into the ground this way really... really do remind you of what we lost that day. I think that was the right thing to do.

The waterfalls could also symbolise tears of loss.
The footprints of the WTC are a sacred space, a final resting place, that no-one can build over or make a commercial enterprise.

May all Americans remember one day this was the day the country was as united as it could be this generation. We have fell completely apart in the last 20 years thanks to media, politics, social media and billionaires who want goals accomplished. We can come back together I just hope it doesn't take another event like this for it to happen.

Rest in peace for all the victims who have died in 11 September attacks. May the survivors and the families of the victims of this tragedy be strengthened.
This was not a conspiracy, this tragedy was not made by George W. Bush and the American government, this was obviously a terrorist attack.
A heartbreaking and sad tragedy for America but a new hope for America. We will never forget this. Stay strong!

    9-11
    A fire ripped
    open the sky,
    scorching
    the hearts
    of the world.
    Stunned
    in silence
    we watched,
    not believing,
    unable to
    grasp
    what lay
    in the ruins.
    Something great
    was lost,
    indefinable,
    ineffable,
    far beyond
    the destruction
    and death,
    ...an ideal.
    A page turned,
    a chapter ended,
    the new one
    too painful
    for the story;
    marching
    forward we took
    backwards steps,
    trying to force
    redemption
    while sifting for
    closure
    in dust that
    could never settle.
    There was
    nothing
    that could begin
    to replace
    what was taken
    right before
    our eyes,
    and in the
    moment
    we blinked,
    the last
    remains of our
    innocence
    was stolen away.

I hope the new architects made sure this new building not as impervious to fire like the last threeworld trade center buildings.
This way the next insurance scam of sending planes into buildings and then claiming the fire weakened the structures orchestrated by us government is much easier to acheive.
These three demolished buildings deserves to be in the Guinness book of record for being the only 3 high rised buildings globally destroyed by fire and collapse nicely onto their terrestrial foot prints.

How did 80ish floors from both Towers collapse on themselves without any fire because if there was a plane didn't the jet fuel explode on impact? And if you give me the pancake Theory that couldn't possibly work unless the towers were built on Jupiter with gravity hundreds of times stronger than Earth!
