Companies use this packing method mostly so people cannot re-sell or buy single loose sealed booster packs. That way if some one wants to try some, they will be forced to buy a full box. Normally done on short run card sets though. The mostly empty box is just mental marketing, so you don't feel as bad paying the price for the actual small box containing the cards.
Not gonna lie, the box design with all the wasted space need to gets an award for the worst box of 2024 🤨 Series 2 even had packs, imo this is kind of a letdown
Hello! I don't think there is anywhere official, I usually just check Ebay for similar cards or other auction sites. This set is pretty popular so there are usually a few listings.
That is crazy how much empty space there is in that box. Talk about paying for the packaging! You have to wonder how random each pack is when sold in a deck format. Are there trading cards for gemstones? If they did I would buy them...
@@TradingCardArchivist I noticed that. It looks like the seller has already marked them as shipped. It is a Choice deals store so hopefully the boxes will be delivered quickly!

that makes a ton of sense, selling "dead" packs is long running scam and this is a good way to fight it.
There are Bob Ross baseball cards, too.
The paintings are the background with the players in front of it.
Some cards are worth $1000+.
Oh right, I forgot about that one - The Joy of Baseball, that was a very cool set.

yeah... and it was like 100$ too. I was pretty bummed when I opened that up.
Where did you go to look up the values for these cards? I saw a couple that I would be interested in.

Those new Butterfly cards form Card.Fun seem to incorporate some sort of gemstone, or maybe they are just very pretty.

@@the_silver_tree Awesome, I can't wait to see those, you'll have to post photos in the discord.
Gotta love em! Keep em coming!
I've had their Golden Girls set on pre order forever, that'll be my next Cardsmiths product whenever it releases.
@@TradingCardArchivist Yea same..been waiting. I am glad though allows me to reup on funds 🤣😂. Series 3 channel debut coming!
Check the backs for short prints. You skipped the Bitcoin card having the "SP" denoted in the top middle at 7:05
😭 I did totally miss that - just went back and I had received 5 SPs in that box. Secondary market is pretty good for these right now too, awesome.
@@TradingCardArchivist 5?! Awesome! A bit more than the average, I believe. I will post something tonight from Series 3 😁 be on the lookout!
It’s a crapshoot.
so true, one of these days I'm gonna get lucky though right!? right? right...
Alot of wrong info
oh ya got me, my name isn't really The Archivist 🙃 I was wondering when somebody would finally call me out on it... anyway ⭐️ there is your gold star!
