The Minecraft Music community is incredibly talented and surprisingly phenomenal. For people to take the Dream SMP, a Minecraft roleplay server, and turn it into unreal, stunning, music is shocking. CG5, Markymu, and beetlebug are amazing artists and I had a lot of fun reacting to them.

Just a heads up, the Dream Anime Opening song isn’t a Dream SMP original, it’s called Gotcha by Bump of the Chicken and used for the Pokemon show I believe. Don’t worry about missing meaningful lyrics!

Well the song and animation was for the commemoration of Pokémon games from the beginning to now, it was released along with the DLC for Sword and Shield :)

The person who made the "if dream smp had an anime opening" actually didnt make the song. Its actually a really good pokemon opening song that has nothing to do with dsmp!
Wasn’t even a Pokémon anime opening. It was just a song that was in a Nintendo Direct and was released when the Sword and Shield DLC released.
Kanaya is a great person to check out for original songs! She makes theme songs for a lot of the Dream SMP members :)

13:14 The one on the left is It's Alyssa(A older member on the SMP who doesn't play anymore) and on the right is Callahan(He is one of the older members on the Smp and periodictly shows up but nothing plot related, he also doesn't talk and only uses chat.)
15:17 That is Purpled(He rarely plays on the SMP but has a big role in the current plot line)

For the anime opening, The first figure in yellow you thought was tommy is actually Punz! (Tommy is always depicted as red) And the two that pop in from the side are Alyssa and Callahan. The person with the spaceship is Purpled, the person with the mask and potion after him is Ponk, and the person with the headset is Jack Manifold! I think you got the rest haha. Great reaction! The anime opening is one of my favorites, I like rewatching it

Hiraeth- a nostalgic longing for a place we called or treated as home, but can't go back or go to it for it wasn't existing anymore or wasn't existing at the first place

Also for anyone who doesn't know (which I don't think is that many but) Wilbur's character in the SMP is married to a fish in a bucket and they had a child to get her which is Fundy
If you're looking for more song recommendations I highly recommend Kanaya's songs Violence and Marionettes. Also Derivakat's song In My Head which is about Ranboo, idk where exactly you are in the lore and does have some kinda recent spoilers about Ranboo's arc but it's very well done :)

Not even a joke, that's how he had fundy, the community tried switching the story alil that the salmon(which is called Sally btw)was a shapeshifter, but Wilbur denied it and confirmed it was just a normal salmon he found and had sex with.

The best song that a fan madefoe dream smp is 'betray somebody' by oh no he's here it's really good and it's really in character I love it
So, a little context about "I See A Dreamer", or more so about the singer. CG5 has been making music on RUclips for a long time now, and most of his songs are based on different video games and memes, but he's also got some original jams. And they're always so good. Even the meme songs are songs I un-ironically listen to.
Also, fun fact, for this song, the backing vocalists are actually his dad and brothers, so good singing voices apparently run in the family.
